Here are three more poems from a series I did on Steemit about four years ago. I have decided to share the whole series again for two purposes:
1 - To gain a new audience. I think the poems are worth dusting off and sharing with an audience who might never read them otherwise.
2 - I can share the links to the previous poems at the end of each post so that when I come to the end of this encore, I'll be able to share one link from time to time and let new audiences view them again. The internet and the blockchain are forever.
I try to keep these multi poem posts tied to a theme, but I am coming to the end of the series and the pieces don't really fit as tightly.
You could make an argument that these three poems are about resolution at the cost of self, so that's what I'm going with.
WAITING is about a woman and how she intends to resolve the infidelity that plagues her life.
White Knight is the story of what happens when the cure becomes the curse.
MERRY GO ROUND is about your inner self telling you how to resolve your station in life. Pretty dark, this one but it has a campy vibe.
FYI - I am not suicidal but there have been times in my life where almost everybody has heard that voice. MERRY GO ROUND is just an amplification of that voice raw.
