memories that I have never been able to forget

That house that was once a refuge

among singing birds
a stream with its current

That our heaven
with that dawn sun

moistened by the dew of the night
while the aroma of coffee
It made the morning more real.

falling into your arms
like those two lovers
for many years
today the time has marked us
the distance between memories
and a present that smells old.

Mientras te esperaba
pasaron por mi pensamiento
recuerdos que nunca he podido olvidar
recuerdos que ayer fueron la vida
momentos que no volverán
de ese pasado hermoso
que juntos vivimos en el campo.

Esa casa que un día fue refugio
de ese amor afortunado
de ese amor fresco y dulce
entre aves cantarinas
un riachuelo con su corriente

Ese nuestro cielo
con ese sol del alba
que se filtraba entre las ramas

humedecidas por el rocío de la noche
mientras el aroma del café
hacía la mañana más real.

no lo pensé dos veces
volcándome entre tus brazos
como aquellos dos enamorados
