Demasiado oscuro para seguir huyendo
Detrás las sombras muerden tus talones
y los pájaros negros picotean tu piel,
tus ojos, tu espalda, tus pulmones.
Corres sin saber por qué ni para dónde.
Corres de los perros, de la gente y de la noche.
¿Cómo llegaste aquí? ¿Recuerdas tu nombre?
¿A quién le hablas? ¿Por qué no respondes?

Deja de padecer con los ojos abiertos
el insomnio es una fiera que mata hombres.
Ponte aquí a mi lado, escucha mi presencia:
soy el hallazgo tranquilizador
que te hará salir de los rincones.
Escúchame, mírame, reconóceme,
detén la fuga inmisericorde.
Ven, leamos un cuento
o un poema de aquellos que me leías cuando era joven.
Deja de ser la sombra:
tu mente está llena de traiciones.
Leamos una última página,
un último libro,
yo seré aquella pastilla
que acabará con tus alucinaciones.
