I sit with my thoughts,
An avalanche of feelings wash over me,
this world, that pushes us to question our identity,
That throws us into chaos,
As we step out onto the ledge,
Our fragility, lay bare.
Judgement rains down,
Pecking at our shattered shells,
Till the last pieces fall away,
And what remains?
A thousand years of burdens,
Embedded in our bones,
Frozen within the tangled knots of our dis ease.
We hold on, afraid of who we will be,
If we open the gates to our liberation,
As if suffering is all we deserve,
Tattooed forever in our DNA,
This our Human nature.
Blinded by the circus,
By the constant noise and propaganda.
We have forgotten who we are,
That we are creators,
That we hold the power to change.
That we, hold the power!
This poem is so insightful. A million words and feelings embedded in a few lines. We have forgotten how much power we wield. To speak out. To incite change. To set ourselves free. So lovely is your outburst of emotion via words, friend. Truly is.

What a true writing, it says a lot, we forget everything we can be capable of as human beings, we are locked in a world where if you do something different they call you crazy, but what the heck, we only have one life and one chance to do the things we like and this poem is like a wake up call for all of us, thank you very much for sharing it dear, abrazos y bendiciones @trucklife-family ♥
