Making me very curious how a 30y old white wine can taste. All the freshness will be out and there's going to stay some heavy butter + oxidated taste in my opinion. So I wouldn't open the bottle I guess... And keep it as a collectors item. But if you do open it, please write an article about what you'll find inside!

Well I once had a bottle of 1990 super market Chardonnay, and since it was my wife's birth year, we decided to open it up a few years ago for fun. I thought surely it was not going to be good at all. But to my surprise it smelled like Butterscotch candy, and looked like honey. Such an interesting wine that I will never forget. So I am very interested in this big bottle. I am with you and keeping as a collectors item, but I really think opening up, and trying it out will create an ever lasting memory, and also a cool post! ;)
