1. Introduce Content Shorthand
With this release we are starting to roll out a few UX changes we have been discussing for a few weeks.
The first one is the new shorthand added on some resources like Communities, Topics, Badges, ...
We plan to use this same system also for other features we are going to introduce in the upcoming releases. Hopefully users will find it useful to quickly identify a specific resource or page.
2. BeeChat Improvements
In this release we focused on a bunch on improvements to better support your chat experience and the group chats.
Support moderators and members changes in group chats
Moderators support has been added to group chats along with the option to manage members of the chat. This should make it much easier to manage large group chats.
Allow to remove chat friends
You can now easily add and remove chat friends directly from the chat sidebar.
Stay signed in when switching accounts
This basically should reduce the number of times you are required to sign into BeeChat when switching accounts (mostly annoying in case you logged in with Keychain and it ask you to sing the login message).
3. Show estimated USD value on transfers
When performing an action that involve HIVE/HBD an estimated amount (in USD) is now shown. This is quite useful for transfers, but included also in other operation like 'Transfer to Savings'.
4. Improve UX on some menus and pages
Some actions menu are now easier to read and navigate both for new and experienced users.
5. New graphic for the Explore page
A completely new look and a better layout on mobile for the Explore page:
6. Some minor improvements and bug fixes

Nice upgrades - shorthands are very useful, USD estimated value is helpful for newbies and explore page looks nice.
From "minor" things image upload is quite important too. It is one of those things that users don't see, but are essential.

im gonna add my suggestions for future updates, for your consideration:
All time/ monthly view Option for tools site, instead of having to keep reloading to see older stats
Option to add favorite topics into yr feed? so topics you are interested in will show up on yr feed by users and communities you might not already follow- that would help reach new viewers/help engagement
Add audio files / pdf files to posts, like how we add pictures
tribe opener...open links in posted tribe so you can maximize voting in the different front ends, kind of like that i love peakd project😘that keeps you on peakd

Have you used the favorites system? There is a way to favorite a topic (or community or user) and have quick access to those feeds.
I believe we sort a couple audio platforms as well as video. We can keep an eye out on a more native system for those formats but we prefer to find and integrate more decentralized systems.
We will be integrating scot-bot api (this is what a tribe really is) into communities and showing token rewards in some upcoming releases
The stats dashboard hasn't been worked on in a long time I suppose we can do quite a few updates for it in a future release.
yes, i like the favorites thing...but i have to click on the individual topics to show them right? (and if you have a lot of favorites it could take a while)as opposed to having then just show up in my feed-i think this would be really cool and im pretty sure it doesnt work that way.

hey, i just realized a better thing then opening a new tribe window (im sure you want to keep people on yr front end) ...is it possible to perhaps make the vote on peakd vote from that front end-some kind of sync or authorization, so you could get the extra tokens and never have to leave your front end? i am obviously not a tech programmer type so perhaps it is just not possible -but i thought it was a cool idea!
What happened to trending? I can't seem to find it anymore.

What some call Thee "trending page" is still there #all topics + trending algorithm.
And the same quick links to get there should also be untouched.
That is good. That section should be deleted.
Posts from people with small amounts of money could get more visibility/exposure.

I know, but I would be happy and glad, if the trending section would disappear. Or at least it would not be the default view on the Hive blockchain. The default view should be the "New" section.
Trending is just an algorithm along with hot as well you can also sort by chronological. There are 3 methods and if someone designs another sorting method/algorithm that people love we will likely add that.
By no stretch of the imagination is the all-topics page a default of peakd... not sure which interface you are using but all topics page is not a default at all.

It says "most viewed". That should not be there at all.
The most viewed post are getting even more views.
What is the point of that? I know. The rich get richer.
There should be a "least viewed" with chronological order.
The poor people could have some visibility/exposure.
most viewed has nothing to do with the trending algorithm. It's based on actual page views and encourages people to go out there and try to get views on their posts and bring traffic to peakd.com

Thanks for reporting we will keep an eye out and try to find out why it happens. There is a high likelihood that your computer/device CLOCK is off. Let us know if that is the case.
