1. Warning to users with a recovery account not active anymore
A large number of users still have configured a recovery account not valid anymore on the Hive blockchain. This caused some issues in the past weeks so starting from this release a small reminder is shown to prompt those users to switch the recovery account.
The recovery account should be set to an user able to verify your account owner identity and cast the required operations to trigger the recovery process.
More tools to simplify this process will be available in the upcoming releases ;)
2. HiveBuzz Awards (aka HiveBuzz badges)
You can now check the HiveBuzz awards (we are not using the term badges to avoid confusion with the Badges already available on the website) for specific users.
Huge thanks to @arcange for the idea and for providing the API used to fetch the correct awards.
3. Support 3speak live stream
It's now possible to embed 3speak live stream. For more information check the official page: https://3speak.online/livestreams
4. New API nodes
Two new API nodes have been added and can now be selected in your Settings:
- api.deathwing.me
- hive.3speak.online
5. Some minor improvements and bug fixes

One, what might be a small issue:
On my alternate account, I do not have any peakd badges, so I have no more button to see the hivebuzz awards. the image is from when I signed in on firefox, same issue though for chrome.

Why do I have to put my Key to change my recovery, why not embedded in keychain ?
Because Keychain only handle the active, posting and memo keys. To change the recovery account the owner key is required so there is no way to handle this via Keychain as far as I know.

Hey, when can you embed NFT distribution from NFTShowroom?
It would be cool for artists and collectors to be able to distribute NFTs to people throughout the Peakd Platform. I think it would be a revolutionary increase in utility for HIVE NFTs.

Thanks, that's why when I opened my account through peakd it told me to change my recovery account. Actually, I changed it already but not just a month ago and maybe that's the reason.

I need a walk through to help me do that recovery account change and I'm nervous to try. I don't want locked out of my hive!
Changing recovery account has zero possibility of locking you out of Hive. Recovery account is only a setting on your account and doesn't have any impact on logging in.

I got a message yesterday about changing my recovery account. I looked at it and it says steem. Well, I changed my pw sometime ago about a week or so after the launched of peakd. And at that time that i changed it, my pw, via actifit, I received new owner private keys both for steem and hive. So, my question is, is my hive owner private key not valid?
If you changed your keys then you'll need to use your new Owner Key.
We have a tool that allows you to use your master password to check to see what your owner key is presently.
Yes, I have all my keys for hive.
I have Owner Key and isn't this the key you need in case you need to recover your account? So, if I have that already, then why do I need to change it? I personally don't know anybody here at personal level. I'm here on my own --- terms, per se.
