RE: Looking back at HF25 - Looking forward to next 12 things

D and K are insanely important. Running @dunksocial I have come to find that users who are not already familiar with crypto really struggle with signing up. They get their keys and then they are fully lost. I have tried to create onboarding help guides and even talk to users 1 on 1 to get them signed up, but this is not scalable at all. If users have lite accounts, we will see the masses start to pile into Hive and experience the learning curve over a period of time instead of all at once. The welcome page goes hand in hand with this concept as we have to make the cryptocurrency aspects of the sites the means to an end rather than being the most pivotal part of the experience. The content should come first/be the main point that needs to be understood and the money/governance should be an added bonus learned along the way. I get that monetization and control of your account are what makes Hive the treasure that it is, but the average social media user does not yet see that, we need to ease them into it.
