So...Turns out turtles can climb fucking trees 😂
Well, not all species are capable of this feat but some are..And they are quite good at it.
Like this little fella climbing a fucking telephone pole, which I assume is much more difficult than a tree since it has a smoother surface and no branches to hold on:

Funnily, I am the owner of a small plot of land that is heavily fenced. The fence is super new, tall and 100 % intact with no holes.
Over the years I have occasionally encountered turtles in it and I always took them out with care...And I always wondered how the fuck they managed to get in... I figured they dug a tunnel or whatever but now I know 😆
In case you wonder, not all turtle species are capable of climbing, as many simply lack the combination of sharp claws and powerful limbs.
But those that do can use this super power to access new places with food or to avoid predators. As expected, falls are quite common and often come with injuries that can be lethal.
As a result this is a behavior they rarely indulge in...And this is why you probably haven't seen a climbing turtle 😅
Maybe teenage mutant ninja turtles was based on a true story? 😅😆

I've seen all your videos, in the second one I wonder if she's alive or NOT, these turtles should NOT forget what they are, turtles, NOT cats, the blows when they fall are strong, and I would say dangerous.
The one in the third video falls a little better and even looks at the camera, but the one on the wall, if she falls, she's going to hit hard.

I didn't know they could climb, but I guess its a part of evolution. They have stronger limbs and claws so they make the most of it to survive.
