One Summer Time : Sa Dagat Beach Camp!

Hello, Hive friends!
Abby, your little introvert is now back with another outdoor trip. I know! I said that I'm a homebody, but that would not stop me from loving the sea. After all, I am a mermaid who cannot swim.

Now, enough with the yapping and join me as I flappin' my arms in the waters of "Sa Dagat Beach Camp," only in Sitio Tambo, Medellin, Cebu. The trip from Danao to the Beach Camp estimatedly takes around three hours.

To tell you, I am not too good with four-wheel transportations since I get motion sickness—the cons of being a dragon slayer! (As per referenced from my favorite childhood anime, "Fairy Tail.") So I had a bit of a struggle on my way there, but still, the destination is worth the struggle.

To replenish the lost energy during the trip, the moment we arrived, we devoured two of their signature pizzas, whose names I do not know, since I care not to know what those are called as I was already dying from nausea at that time. After a while, and after I had my apple-flavored cider, I was revived and saved from that terrible feeling I was suffering from.

Arriving at the camp will transport you to a different dimension. It's a paradise! The place is surrounded by lined-up long-standing palm trees, providing you with enough shades from the direct sunlight while you sit on the swing, allowing the tranquility of the place to engulf yourself.

The crystal-clear waters allow you to see what lies beneath it - inviting you to explore underwater. It was just so unfortunate of me, since I cannot get into the waters for some personal health issues at that time.

The Most Awaited Time of the Day

The sky started to grow dimmer, and the ball of golden orb glided slowly to the horizon. From sunset to twilight, I found myself fixated right at the bay, staring at its magnificent beauty, which I will never get tired of admiring. The beauty in front of me was more than enough to remove the sadness I have from not being able to join the others for a swim.

The night has come, and for those who plan to stay for an overnight trip at the beach, you can book their cozy little white tents, facing right at the ocean.

The salty breath of fresh air will welcome you the moment you wake up in the morning, making you daydream about the seafood underwater haha. Additionally, a morning dip in the waters is a must and should not be forgotten. It will make you feel alive and fully awake.

Before heading home we had breakfast because we cannot travel for hours on the road with an empty stomach. I had sisig with rice and a mango shake on the side. Naturally, I am not really fond of runny yolks but this one was forgivable. The meal was pretty good and the scenery in front was beautiful—a perfect combo indeed.

The trip was cut short and felt like a fairytale. However, despite the limited time we had, I can attest that "Sa Dagat Beach Camp" can offer you one of the most unforgettable glamping experiences you will ever have by the beach.
