Today I wanted to take my family on a tour, so we ended up here in the famous Philippine Taoist Temple.

So we stop over first at a car wash station near our barangay to clean Captain America our motorcycle.

After the car wash boy finishes to clean up Captain America then I set the Waze to Busay Cebu because our first Plan was to visit Busay, I was wondering if there was a tourist spot that we could visit along the way so we search online and Philippine Taoist Temple appeared.

When we arrived at the Beverly Hills subdivision in Cebu we just left an ID on the guard house to be able to enter the subdivision, and the guard gave us instructions that the Taoist temple was on the first street on our left.

After that I continued driving to the Taoist temple while driving we already saw from afar the Taoist temple.

After a minute of driving, we arrived at the Philippine Taoist Temple I was amazed, It had this Chinese all around making you feel like you are in another country.

IMG20240707121347.jpg

I thought it was the entrance to the Taoist Temple it was just the parking lot of the temple so the guard told me that we needed to go outside and enter the side door.

IMG20240707121248.jpg

While walking on these stairs I remembered these stairs in the movie Kung Fu Panda and those red lamps also the clouds design on the stand of the red lamps.

IMG20240707123756.jpg

Before you reach the top of the temple you will also see from the entrance the City view of Cebu and some people say if the sky is clear you will also see Bohol.

IMG20240707121542.jpg

Upon entering the temple as visitors we should observe silence since the place is sacred to the devotees and also the visitors are not allowed to take photos of the altar and the saint.

IMG20240707123845.jpg

They also have animals that will enjoy your kids they have koi fish that are long and turtles.

IMG20240707122301.jpg

We also tried this telescope I don't think it was the right name for it comment down on the comment section if I was wrong, but I and my son tried this one to be able to use it you just have to put a 10 pesos coin to see the city in near vision.

IMG20240707123741.jpg

The cool breeze here helps in freeing the mind and spirit. I could spend a couple of hours just sitting here and wondering about things.

IMG20240707121827.jpg

IMG20240707122802.jpg

By the way, the place is not as small as you may think. There are a lot of corners and areas to explore.

IMG20240707122846.jpg

IMG20240707122613.jpg

We also throw coins we just follow some Chinese how they throw their coins, to be able to grant your wish you have to shoot at the jar.

IMG20240707123213.jpg

IMG20240707123344.jpg

Also, my son was amazed by the dragons on the roof my son thought that those dragons were real.

IMG20240707123509.jpg

IMG20240707123518.jpg

We also took photos of this big dragon we're my son was so amazed what we're like in another country because of the structures and design of the place it looks like in the Great Wall of China.

IMG20240707123613.jpg

This "Great Wall" is getting a lot of attention on the internet because it feels like you are travelling in China or similar countries. This explains the flock of people taking selfies along this stretch.

They also have a free shuttle for those devotees of the Taoist Temple.

IMG20240707121215.jpg

If you will be bringing your toddler with you make sure they can observe silence because for us we have a bit struggled of our youngest. After all, we can't control her from shouting and crying.

IMG20240707124022.jpg

IMG20240707122916.jpg

So we just around 30 minutes roaming around the Taoist Temple because we didn't want to cause to those people pray in silence.

IMG20240707123441.jpg

Now, a more important thing to note is that you will be entering a temple. Hence, you should pay respect by maintaining silence and peace. The people in the temple respect everyone regardless of religion/spirituality; hence, it is just right that we give them respect as well.

What a beauty Taoist Temple is 🛕 So cute that your son thought the dragon’s are real 🐉

I also thought it was so real.

Ang ganda naman. Nice of you to take your family on trips around the island. Magandang bonding moments yan para sa inyo. Also, may matututunan ang mga bata dito. Good job, bro.

Kaya nga po. Anyway, some educational spots have free entrance so every time we travel I look on Google for tourist spots that are free entrance or cheaper but nice places.

Tama. It doesn't have to be expensive to be a great family experience. Good luck sa next biyahe ninyo. Keep safe at palaging mag helmet. ⛑️ ⛑️ ⛑️

Salamat po,

nice family bonding @ace26!

The cool breeze here helps in freeing the mind and spirit. I could spend a couple of hours just sitting here and wondering about things.

eto rin gusto ko pag bumibisita ako sa mga temple, lalo na kapag nasa bundok.

If you want to unwind and find some peaceful place I recommend a historical or religious place.

Great time spent with family, and a great place to unwind too!

Omg my friend went there last year! The view looks so good.

How Taoist temple looks is as wonderful as the tourists! Such a great bond with your family, sir @ace26 .

Taoist Temple is still beautiful Sir @ace26 The last time I visited the place is 2003, and the place is still beautiful
