Hi everyone, now every year I like to end it with a nice excursion in the mountains, on Monte Grappa and so this year too I haven't given up on this tradition of mine.

We left from the car park which was not far from the Scarpon refuge around 3.30pm.

Even though there was no snow, the landscape was still beautiful. I had crampons in my backpack in case I found ice, but the temperature was not yet below freezing.

Nonostante non ci fosse neve, il paesaggio era comunque stupendo. Nel mio zaino avevo i ramponi qualora avessi trovato ghiaccio, ma la temperatura non ancora sotto lo zero.
The trail was well marked and the walking was quite easy.

As the sun went down, the sky turned red and orange.

The view was breathtaking. We stopped to watch the sunset and take some photos.

It was a magical moment and we were all thrilled to be there.

There was no sound except the wind and our footsteps across the dry grass.

The very fresh and clean air entered the lungs.

The heartbeat that punctuated the steps with each climb, two or three beats for each step.

After sunset, we continued our walk and returned to the parking lot.
We arrived around 7pm.

We walked at least 2 hours first in the moonlight and then illuminating the path with our flashlights.

It was a wonderful way to end the year and start the new year with a feeling of peace and serenity.
