Hi everyone! As indicated in my previous post here I am again after two days! And I also made another promise.. it will be the last article about a waterfall! 😅😂😜 In addition to the Agua Azul waterfall, I also wrote an article about the Misol Ha waterfall. All these waterfalls can be reached from Palenque in Chiapas, Mexico! Oh yes.. I really like water, whether it's a river, a lake, the sea... I think they are places that can always give you peace and relaxation...
Roberto Barrios waterfall is known for its scenic beauty and crystal-clear water pools, which offer visitors the opportunity to swim and cool off in breathtaking natural surroundings.
The waterfall draws inspiration from the nearby village of Roberto Barrios, nestled nearby. A succession of waterfalls pours into natural pools, creating a tropical and evocative atmosphere.
The clear waters that feed the waterfall flow from natural springs, passing through a lush forest and creating a habitat rich in life. The sound of flowing water and the intense green of the surrounding vegetation blend in a magical and relaxing atmosphere.
We begin our adventure by showing the vehicle used to reach the waterfall. Leaving from Palenque you can arrive in this paradise in about three hours. During the trip I met some very nice people with whom we sang Spanish songs and drank beer!
This is the only restaurant in the waterfall location and at the end of this experience I really wanted to eat excellent fish cooked in a divine way! I'll show it to you soon..
In this photo there are public toilets! the blue cylinders are used to wash the bathroom using a bucket. In Mexico nature is highly respected!
This beautiful sign invites people together to have a better world!
You can't miss a photo of the rules to visit the place.. the indication that you can't use the barbeque is very thought-provoking..
Compared to the previously published waterfalls, in this case we are at the top of the waterfall and we have to go down the path very carefully to be able to visit all the numerous levels of the waterfall! Yes, as you have noticed, we are immersed in nature... in the jungle!
And here is the first photo of the waterfall! Maybe for now nothing special... but let's see in the next photos! Ah, as you can see, there are ropes to show tourists where they can't take a swim and why not... if by chance you fall into the water!
From the second photo you can begin to admire the beauty of this place..
I really like taking a photo with the reflection of the water! moreover, from this shot it is possible to see people who are bathing in these clear waters!
Seeing a person so close to the ledge of the waterfall, I initially didn't think of doing the same thing... but during my bath I also started seeing the landscape from the same point!
Walking around the waterfall I encountered this dense vegetation..
Now we are approaching the waterfall called El Caracol which is five meters deep!
What do you think of the next photos? I think this waterfall is gorgeous!
We are approaching the end of the waterfall. I tried to get as far as possible to the end of the path but I admit that I had the feeling that the feeling of danger was increasing and in two cases I risked falling!
Sorry if I seem repetitive but I also find this photo shot beautiful! The structure of the waterfall in this photo is gorgeous!
Unfortunately we have now reached the end of the road! The warning signs increase and it is possible to see how the place is also increasingly uncontaminated and you are more and more immersed in nature!
In the next photos it's me taking a bath! Too bad you can't see my smile well but I was really happy! The water wasn't cold and I took an hour long bath! I thank a couple of Italian origin who took these souvenir photos of me!
Back on the surface this is the view of the park that leads to the path to reach the waterfall.
You can't miss the map of Chiapas! You can see all the neighboring states and also the infinite beauties present in Chiapas!
I conclude the article with the fish I ate at the end of the day! In addition to steamed fish and vegetables with an exquisite cream, I was able to eat rice and the typical Mexican bean sauce and tortillas!
Thank you so much for reading my article!
