There are various ways to fill your free time on the weekend, one of which is touring the countryside. One alternative is to explore the countryside and enjoy the typical rural atmosphere while also enjoying the view of expansive rice fields in a truly calming atmosphere.
Hello all my friends, back again with me in this beloved community and on this occasion I would like to invite you all to enjoy the typical atmosphere of my village, where this weekend I took a little time to take some pictures in different corners of my village with a short article from me later. from that, continue to follow this blog to see how beautiful my village is through the pictures that I have immortalized
Cot Kruet is a village located in the Peudada District of Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia.
My friends...
Cot Kruet. The term COT in Acehnese can mean mountain or hill, while KRUET can refer to various things. KRUET here refers to a typical plant with a very strong odor. So overall, Cot Kruet is a village that can be interpreted as a hill of plants with a distinctive odor.
In the past...
According to my parents, Cot Kruet was a hamlet from the expansion of Dayah Mon Ara village. However, after the conflict, the hamlet transformed into a village with a long history during the civil conflict in Aceh.
These are some images I captured the first time I visited the entrance gate to my village, Cot Kruet.
One of the main attractions of the village is its natural beauty.
Located in the highlands, my village is surrounded by verdant rice paddies, lush forests, and towering mountains in the distance.
The stunning natural scenery makes the atmosphere in this village so cool and comfortable. You can enjoy the sunrise or sunset between the surrounding hills, making it a truly beautiful moment to capture.
Furthermore, if you're in my village, during certain seasons, you can witness the local community's agricultural activities, from planting rice to harvesting.
And this is one of the main dishes in my village: tens of hectares of rice paddies, a powerful rural specialty. These are some of the images I captured. I hope these images can convey the atmosphere of my village to you all, along with the vastness of the rice fields in the village. However, it's a bit unfortunate that I was there during the season when the locals had just harvested their rice. I think someday, when the rice planting season is in full swing, I'll return here to share some of the images with you all.
As I mentioned above, my village's main attraction is its natural beauty. While wandering around the village, strolling along the roads while enjoying the views of the rice fields and forests, this is one of the best ways to appreciate the beauty of my village. I also noticed several hills among the rice fields in the distance.
Personally, for me, this is an extraordinary natural landscape, with the village's pristine beauty intact.
My friends...
This place not only offers natural beauty but also offers the richness of my village's authentic culture. If the village head recognizes you as a tourist, he will invite you to learn more about local life through various cultural activities.
Considering that the population of my village is entirely Muslim, it is very easy for those of you who are Muslim to find a place of worship in my village, even more than one, but this is one that I have immortalized, namely the Baitui Aziz mosque, which is the main place of worship and also holds several religious events here usually every week.
Then we arrived at the main road, where these are some of the pictures I captured. Our goal was to watch a local football match held in a village not far from mine. This is an amateur form of football usually held in certain months during the breaks between the national leagues, namely Liga 1 and Liga 2 in Indonesia.
My friends...
You can see my previous blog about my trip to the neighboring village to watch a local football match, which I captured a few days ago. Below is the link, which discusses the topic of local football.

Lastly...
This is a picture I really like: sunset photography in my village, which is at a simple reservoir in the village. When I was little, my friends and I often went fishing at this reservoir. We were even scolded by our parents several times for coming home late. So, the atmosphere of this picture I captured is very precious to me, making me nostalgic for the past. Now, time flies so fast, and some of my friends are already married, but this place still holds precious memories. I captured this picture after returning home from watching a football match.
Okay, my friends...
Those are some of the pictures I captured and shared at this meeting. I think if you have free time this weekend, it wouldn't be wrong to choose that time to explore the village and enjoy its unique natural beauty, as I did. Because not all vacations need crowded places; sometimes our bodies also need a peaceful atmosphere like the village offers.
That's all for this meeting.
Greetings everyone.
And have a great weekend!
