No, no, we live 35 km from Zurich, in canton Schaffhausen (north of Zurich).
The tickets are normally 250 EUR per person but I know that there are some possibilities to make it much cheaper, but probably you need to be checking the website. And I guess that if you buy a ticket on a French website than it's going to be cheaper than if you bought it on the Swiss one anyway 😂

Schaffhausen area is indeed very nice. It is not mountainous but we have many vineyards, castles and beautiful architecture. It's a lovely region to visit. The best time would be late spring or early summer.
Oh, I've been to Paris but honestly I didn't like it that much. It was dirty, smelly and there were strange people walking around 😂
Maybe our experience would have been better if we had a local guide 😉
Your experience didn’t have been distorted by the fact you’re living in Switzerland, even for the people who live here, it’s really dirty and I couldn’t agree much about the weird people haha 😂
