Santuario de la Virgen Del Valle - Basílica Nuestra Señora Del Valle margarita Venezuela

Cada año Miles de personas de todas partes del país se movilizan hasta margarita para poder asistir a la misa y a la procesión en el santuario esto es algo que se ha hecho por generaciones es una tradición, nosotras nos despertamos muy temprano para asistir a la misa a las 8 am que de estaba realizando en el valle, aunque salimos con mucho tiempo llegamos unos minutos tardes ya que estaba colapsado esa parte de la isla por lo de la celebración, si eres de afuera de la isla es fácil llegar ya que se indica, nosotras agarramos autobuses en total fueron 3, cuando llegamos tenía unos minutos que había comenzado la misa.

Entramos dónde estaban colocados los asientos a escuchar la misa, mi tía consiguió una sombra y se sentó ahí, mi mamá y yo salimos un momento para buscar un poco de sombra y escuchar la misa tranquilamente ya que hacía aproximadamente 33° de temperatura, estuvimos por los alrededores yo estaba buscando la forma de acercarme un poco más para poder ver a la virgen más de cerca pero la cantidad de gente no dejaba.

Algunos peregrinos movilizan sus vírgenes para que el padre las bendiga, en este caso me conseguí con una familia que llevo su virgen del valle desde muy lejos para la bendición, me contaron que cada año iban para el santuario para pedirle y darle las gracias a la virgen, otra cosa resaltante es que en todo el oriente del país es normal que cada uno de los creyentes le hagan un vestido a la virgencita algunas personas se lo hacen a mano, para que sea especial en su día.

Cuando terminó la misa en el santuario nos dirigimos a la basílica menor dónde llevarían a la virgen de regreso pero la dejarían en la parte de abajo para que todos los peregrinos pudieran apreciarla, la imagen de la virgen permanece cerca de laa personas hasta el 8 de diciembre que vuelven a subirla a su nicho.

La basílica menor su contrucción empezó aproximadamente en el año 1894 es de un estilo gótico y se ha ido remodelando a la largo de los años aquí se guarda una de las imágenes de la venerada virgen más vieja que existen patrona de oriente, también se le dice patrona de los pescadores, el significado de este santuario e iglesia para los peregrinos es muy importante por lo que representa y su historia es una maravillosa visual, además una de las cosas más resaltantes de la isla de margarita.
