The Snow White in the Lem Science Garden in Krakow.

in Worldmappin3 years ago

Last year, during the lockdown, the Garden of Lights (temporary exhibition) was the only "legal" entertainment place in Krakow. You could meet there with a group of people without the risk of being fined (excluding the workplace, shops, public transport e.t.c.). No wonder it was very popular, and crowds visited it - families with children, groups of friends of all ages, and couples.

The exhibition was organized in the Garden of Experiences in Krakow, and the citizens could enjoy it during the winter season. In the summer season you can come here with children or friends and experience science.

I also visited the Garden of Lights back then, and I liked it so much that I came here this season. A year ago, the exhibition's theme was "Alice in Wonderland." This year, Snow White invited us to the world of fairy tales.

Please welcome!

There were not too many visitors (I was on the weekday) - different than a year ago. I noticed that some of the decorations were not illuminated - possibly due to the small number of visitors (energy saving). It would be unfair because I paid the whole amount for the ticket... But I wasn't going to care about the little things. Besides, it was fabulous anyway!

I was wondering about the rumors of an energy crisis. Governments scare us with a blackout, and I take a walk in a garden full of light!

I remember the blackouts from my early childhood; it was the norm in Poland at that time. It was a kind of attraction, at least for me as a child. But I wouldn't like a repeat of those times.

For now, we are not short of electricity;)

But I noticed an energy crisis in one place - in the mine!

It is here that the dwarfs are mining bitcoin;)

You can clearly see problems with electricity - some decorations are not illuminated. Maybe that's why bitcoin is not doing very well lately 😉.

I liked the luminous maze and the tunnel the most.

I walked through the colorful tunnel several times (and not only me). Each of us has a little child inside;)

Well, I hope that the Garden of Lights exhibition will not accelerate our energy crisis and that we will enjoy it until the end of February 😉. Then it will come time to prepare for the summer season. In April, we will see the scientific face of Stanisław Lem Science Garden again. And it's an exciting place, even without any lighting effects!

This looks so much fun! I love light shows, they always look magic!

Always! Even if you know very well, it's decorations 😃

It´s next to the M1 shopping center, right? We have only seen it from the outside, haven´t been inside but it looks amazing :)
