Each house is labeled with a name and a prayer for the house to be more beautiful and good as its name, but not for this place. Usually we call it crazy rich which means people who have a lot of money, what does crazy house mean? Right, this house is very crazy! Let me tell you, when I went to Vietnam and found a unique place here. One of the little things that is quite famous abroad. I am one of the foreigners from Vietnam who came from Medan to Dalat to see Crazy House.
This city of Dalat is quite unique with its weather, it is unpredictable but what you must always bring is a raincoat and an umbrella. This rainy city is suitable for the city of Dalat which is located in the highlands. The air is very cold, you even have to wear a jacket every day. I like the city of Dalat because the air is clean, although it makes my skin feel very dry.
It is not difficult enough to get tickets because they can be purchased through the counter in front. Besides, there are some people who will offer guide services in front of the cashier, but of course I just want to look around and enjoy the view of an artist's work of imagination to create this Crazy House.
This house is like a house in a fairy tale cartoon, as someone who likes fairy tales when I was little, I was like in a cartoon or fairy tale book that my mother or father used to read. For example, like the 3 houses in the Disney princess that I often watch. But, a little scarier than I thought, this house is like the house of a cunning witch in a forest.
Although it seems that this house looks messy with its arrangement, we can't deny that that's the concept. Each room and building is even very different. This house seems to have a different dimension. But on the outside, this house looks like it's made of rotten logs. I look like an ant or insect walking around a log, that's the reality.
This house has a fairly large area and a height that exceeds other buildings around this district. So, you can see the surrounding area in Dalat city from here. I also like some interesting spots for photos, one of which is a statue of the Kaonashi character, Spirited Away, which is a fairly iconic cartoon in its time. I felt like I was at a bus stop sitting next to Kaonashi. We seemed to be friends!
This house is not only used as a place of entertainment and an exhibition of the artist's work, but also as a hotel that can be rented. Around 28-35 USD for one night. The place is quite okay to live in because some rooms are deliberately kept away from visitors, to avoid noise and maintain privacy. Even so, there are some rooms that are open to the public so they can see what facilities and contents of the rooms in this house are.
I really like the place but I'm afraid to stay here. It seems that at night it is very quiet and that makes me scared. Especially with the various devil characters here, as well as some statues that are quite scary. But, I like it because there is an element of someone's work that can create their imagination through a unique house like this. we need imaginative people to create works and can be enjoyed by everyone.
See you the next time hive friends!
