Hello my dear Hive friends!!! I hope you are having a spectacular day!

This time I want to share with you what was my visit to Verona, the esoteric Verona! With my friend Andres, who also didn't know the city.

This place is located between Milan and Venice, about an hour by train from Milan.

Andres is a friend I made in Marseille, in 2021, when I started traveling as a volunteer. Yes, hehe, I did it in the middle of the pandemic.

At that time my second phone was stolen in Barcelona, and just in that phone I had pictures of the first part of my trip, where my friend appeared. Now I searched if there were any somewhere in the cloud, but no, unfortunately I lost them. However, I kept his contact and for me he has been a great help at the time of emigrating, because in the end he has given me excellent recommendations and advice even at a distance.

Andres was living in France, he is an agronomist and was doing a master's degree there. But since almost a year ago he has moved to Italy.

I had wanted to see him for a long time, because he is cheerful, one of those who are always looking for solutions and who see the bright side of life. So when I decided to go to Italy, I wrote to him to see if we could meet. Of course he said yes, and he himself found a place that was right in the middle of our trip.

That place was Verona.

Pasea Conmigo Por Verona!! Nueva City desbloqueada y la visita a un viejo amigo

¡¡¡TIENES 40 FOTOS AQUÍ!!! Sí... ¡40! Fue una difícil selección. Verona es un sueño, y cuando termines de leer, entenderás por qué me resultó tan difícil eliminar más fotos :)

Hola mis amigos queridos de Hive!! Espero que estén teniendo un día espectacular!!

En esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes lo que fue mi visita a Verona, la esotérica Verona! Con mi amigo Andrés, quien tampoco conocía la ciudad.

Este sitio se encuentra entre Milan y Venecia, a una hora en tren aproximadamente, desde Milán.

Andrés es un amigo que hice en Marsella, en el 2021, cuando empecé a viajar como voluntaria. Sí, jeje, lo hice en el medio de la pandemia.

En aquel entonces robaron mi segundo teléfono en Barcelona, y justo en ese móvil tenía fotos de la primera parte de mi viaje, en donde aparecía mi amigo. Ahora busqué si había alguna en algún sitio de la nube, pero no, lamentablemente las perdí. Sin embargo, conservé su contacto y para mí ha sido una gran ayuda al momento de emigrar, pues al final me ha dado excelentes recomendaciones y consejos aún a la distancia.

Andrés estaba viviendo en Francia, él es agrónomo y estaba haciendo un máster allí. Pero desde hace casi un año se ha mudado a Italia.

Hace mucho tiempo que lo quería ver, pues es alegre, de esos que siempre buscan soluciones y que ven el lado bueno de la vida. Por esto, cuando decidí ir a Italia, le escribí para ver si podríamos coincidir. Claro que dijo que sí! Y el mismo encontró un lugar que nos quedaba justo a mitad de camino.

Ese lugar era Verona.

Verona was tempting me, because in 2019 I had to choose between Verona or Lago di Como-Bellagio, of course I chose the lake (and I would do it again), but Verona remained as pending, because my parents had gone and although they were not very happy, the photos they showed me had seemed very nice.

Verona me venía tentando, pues en 2019 tuve que elegir entre conocer Verona o Lago di Como- Bellagio, claro que elegí el lago (y volvería a hacerlo), pero Verona quedó como pendiente, porque además mis padres habían ido y aunque no estaban muy conformes, las fotos que me mostraron me habían parecido muy bonitas.

Salió Verona…

The day was rainy, but with a nice rain, the kind you can hardly feel. We didn't have an umbrella because we were both too lazy to carry one, but we still enjoyed the visit very much.

El día estaba lluvioso, pero con una lluvia agradable, de esa que casi no se siente. No teníamos paraguas porque a los dos nos daba pereza cargar con uno, pero así y todo disfrutamos muchísimo la visita.

What I recommend to do in this city is to walk along the banks of the Adige River. The scenery is beautiful and from there you can go to different places, because it is very close to the old town.

I was in this city only for the day, but two days for me are perfect for Verona. Although some people recommend staying there longer, I would say that it is not necessary, unless one of those other days you have Verona as a base and go to some other town or lake.

Lo que más recomiendo hacer en esta ciudad, es caminar a orillas del Río Adigio. El paisaje es bellísimo y desde allí puedes ir a diferentes sitios, pues está muy cerca del casco antiguo.

Yo estuve en esta ciudad solamente por el día, pero dos días para mí son perfectos para Verona. Aunque hay gente que recomienda estar allí más tiempo, yo diría que no es necesario, salvo que uno de esos otros días tengas a Verona como base y te vayas a algún otro pueblo o lago.

A curious fact about Verona is that it is known as the esoteric city because it has numerous stalls selling products related to energy such as incense, candles, and others.

Following this line, in the city have placed a striking Harry Potter products store where you can find wands, charms, candy, clothing and more. It is a place that somehow recreates the stall that London offers in its famous train station: King's Cross.

Un dato curioso de Verona es que se conoce como la ciudad esotérica debido a que cuenta con numerosos puestos de venta de productos relacionados con lo energético como sahumerios, velas, y otros.

Siguiendo esta línea, en la ciudad han colocado una llamativa tienda de productos de Harry Potter en donde se pueden encontrar varitas mágicas, amuletos, dulces, vestimenta y mucho más. Es un sitio que de alguna manera recrea el puesto que ofrece Londres en su famosa estación de tren: King’s Cross.
