Views from Üsküdar/Beylerbeyi and Çengelköy — Üsküdar/Beylerbeyi ve Çengelköy’den Manzaralar 🌲🌊

Hello everyone, I hope you are well and everything is fine.
I recently went to the hospital for dental treatment and I took photos of some impressive places during my journey.
Since it was around noon, it was quite hot. I walked to the Beylerbeyi palace on foot. In order not to be affected too much by the heat, I walked from the far right of the barriers, from the shaded areas.

Geçtiğimiz günlerde diş tedavisi için hastaneye gitmiştim ve yolculuğum esnasında etkileyici bazı yerlerin fotoğraflarını çekmiştim.
Öğlen vakitleri olduğu için hava bayağı sıcaktı. Beylerbeyi sarayının olduğu yere kadar yürüyerek gittim. Sıcaktan çok fazla etkilenmemek için bariyerlerin en sağından, gölgelik alanlardan yürüdüm.

Üsküdar is one of the smallest provinces in terms of area, but in terms of beauty, I think it is in the top five. Historical texture, sea, Bosphorus views and many factors such as these are among the reasons why I think so. There is also a considerable amount of greenery.

Üsküdar yüzölçümü bakımından en küçük illerinden birisi ancak güzellik yönünden bence ilk beşte yer alıyor. Tarihi dokusu, denizi, boğaz manzaraları ve bunlar gibi birçok faktör böyle düşünme nedenlerimden. Ayrıca azımsanmayacak derecede yeşillik alanı da bulunuyor.

As I was descending from the Bosphorus Bridge to Beylerbeyi beach, a green area caught my eye. I have seen the places I photographed many times before, but I was more impressed because I saw it so closely for the first time. Before I rented a house in Ümraniye, I searched for a house to witness this view every day, but I had to give up because it was too expensive.

Boğaziçi köprüsünün olduğu yerden Beylerbeyi sahiline inerken yeşillik alan gözüme ilişti. Fotoğrafını çektiğim yerleri daha önce birçok kez gördüm ancak ilk defa bu kadar yakından gördüğüm için daha çok etkilendim. Ümraniye’de ev tutmadan önce bu manzaraya her gün şahit olmak için ev araştırmıştım ancak çok pahalı olduğu için vazgeçmek durumunda kalmıştım.

As I approached Beylerbeyi palace, the nature view was disappearing but I was getting closer to the sea view. Even though the weather was hot, it felt good to witness two different views in a short time. I tried to take photos of the bridge from different positions until I got closer to the bus stop. The view of the bridge is much more beautiful at night, but it was not bad during the day either. I guess the important thing is to capture the moment.

Beylerbeyi sarayına yaklaşırken doğa manzarası kayboluyordu ancak deniz manzarasına daha çok yaklaşıyordum. Havalar sıcak olsa da kısa sürede iki farklı manzaraya şahit olmak iyi hissettirdi. Otobüs durağına yaklaşıncaya kadar köprünün farklı konumlardan fotoğrafını çekmeye çalıştım. Geceleri köprü manzarası çok daha güzel oluyor ancak gündüz de hiç fena değilmiş. Önemli olan ânı yakalayabilmek sanırım.

After waiting for 10 minutes, the bus arrived and I got off four stops later to take another bus. I knew that buses went to the hospital from the stop where I got off, but although I waited for 20 minutes, not a single bus passed. When I looked online, I saw that the number of trips was reduced and there was no service at that time. I waited in the heat for 20 minutes in vain. Although the stop and the hospital are not very close, I preferred to walk with the intention of seeing different views. Since the appointment time was a little late, I walked slowly without rushing. However, I did not encounter places that attracted my attention too much. I wish the bus had passed at that time. 😄

10 dakika kadar bekledikten sonra otobüs geldi ve dört durak sonra başka otobüse binmek için indim. İndiğim duraktan hastaneye otobüslerin gittiğini biliyordum ancak 20 dakika beklememe rağmen tek bir otobüs geçmedi. İnternet’ten baktığımda sefer sayılarının azaltıldığını ve o saatlerde seferin olmadığını gördüm. 20 dakika sıcakta boşuna beklemiş oldum. Durak ile hastene arası çok yakın olmamasına rağmen farklı manzaralar görürüm niyetiyle yürümeyi tercih ettim. Randevu saati de biraz geç olduğu için acele etmeden yavaş yavaş yürüdüm. Ancak çok fazla dikkatimi çeken yerlerle karşılaşmadım. Keşke otobüs o saatlerde geçseydi. 😄

On that day, my friend and I made one appointment after the other. After the treatment, we went to Üsküdar beach by bus. I think this is one of the most beautiful photographs I took that day. If it had not been forbidden to go beyond where the security was, I probably could have taken much better photographs. The road was like a door to the sea.

O gün arkadaşımla birlikte peş peşe randevu almıştık. Tedavi olduktan sonra otobüsle Üsküdar sahiline geçtik. Sanırım o gün çektiğim en güzel fotoğraflardan birisi de bu paylaştığım. Güvenliğin olduğu yerden ileriye geçmek yasak olmasaydı muhtemelen çok daha güzel fotoğraflar çekebilirdim. Yol adeta denize açılan bir kapı gibiydi.

At around 16.00 we went to the fethi pasha grove and then to the cafe in the woods. It was a pleasant and beautiful day.
I will share the cafe and the area where it is located in the coming days.
