Exploring the Hidden Khe Ram Waterfall, Da Nang

Hello, adventurous friends!
It was a long time, we did not explore the waterfall together, right?
Today, Let me show you one of my favorite waterfalls I've discovered recently.
It is called Khe Ram waterfall, which is located in Hoa Bac district, Da Nang

Here are our itineraries

4.Explore the abandoned Retreat house in the forest

On this trip, rather than driving, we cycled to appreciate every scenery we have been through. It is about 30km far from the city. We rode through many villages, small houses and saw a lot of buffalos, storks, and sugar cane fields along. It was a cloudy day so we were super happy because it would not make us tired and have enough energy to cycle all day.

This flower I took from the sugar cane shop we stopped by for a rest. So pretty, right?

1.Walk across the stream with unexpected friends

After 2 hours of cycling, we got to the bottom of the mountains and we parked our bikes there then continue to walk. It was so exciting because this was the first time, we experienced 2 activities at once time. We then saw the so clean and clear stream which I could see my feet and it has seldom seen in the cities. Suddenly, there were some people going there as well. They even drove across which I thought was very dangerous but looking at them doing it was so fun and interesting.

2.Hike the slippery rocks

Now, It is time to hike up the mountain. The further we go, the more beautiful scenery we see along the way. The trail sometimes was covered by overgrown plants after rainy seasons, which made us get lost several times. I was so excited to go into the jungle and had to put my head lower to cross the broken trees along. We kept hiking and followed the sound of water. It was already over the rain so the rock was super slippery to get through. We had no choice to go the other trail, just the only way was climbing over the rocks. I was so scared to do it because I don't know how to swim so if I fell down, I would die. Therefore, I was so slow and careful to go over that.

3.Enjoy Khe Ram Waterfall

After 25 minutes of hiking, we finally came there. It was truly worth it for all our efforts. The waterfall was extremely marvelous and the water was really green. Last time, I was at Peach Slides waterfall, the water was blue. I wonder why and how it is created that beautiful water. Just a few people came here so it is very natural and clean.

This is our food for this adventure. It is really healthy and fresh for our trip. We were so hungry along the way to get here but we talk to ourselves that let's eat them when we get there as our reward and it truly was.
It was just so enjoyable to lay down in the middle of the day, close my eyes and listen to the sound of water spattering down. This journey just had me and my friend, quite risky but i am proud that I did it.

4.Explore the abandoned Retreat house in the forest

Everywhere we went, we always found out an abandoned or empty house which was thrilled our curiosity. Maybe it was lockdown for a while so this place currently had no people living. It was an interesting house because it was made from leaves of coconut and looked so vintage. It was decorated simple but elegant. We walked into the house and just had simple objects such as a chair, beautiful art drawings, and a small kitchen. This might be owned by a great person.

The thing that made me so happy was the flowers here. There were a lot of types of them around here, I especially enjoyed this white one which looked so gorgeous.

This is the part I want to talk about my friend who was guiding me to so many beautiful places. She is so strong and supports me a lot. I really respect and am grateful to have time to cycle with her and be her accompany this trip.

This is the quiet stream I found out the way back which kept me a bit time standing here to watch it. It was so peaceful but it is time to go home as well. This journey again made my day and my week. It fueled my energy and keep trying more.
