"An early walk with the people you love makes the adventure more memorable"
Welcome everyone to my new story, it's @chimegipamus, come with me today and enjoy reading.
The month of April scares everyone as King Sun releases his mighty heat leaving each student to have online classes and modular learning at home.
But this does not stop us from going on adventure. The night before we already prepared the things to bring for the next day's hiking. We prepare to bring hot water to have coffee after hiking and have our breakfast on the mountain. I also boiled some eggs and bought bread.
Around 5 am the next day we were getting ready to travel. Everyone was packed and checked everything we should be bringing. Outfit check, food check, car check and we headed to the mountain.
The highest point in the City of Naga is the Mt Naupa. From the city, it takes almost twenty kilometers to go up. We take the Barangay Lanas route for it is more accessible than the Cogon route.
Mr sun was already up but it didn't stop us from going on adventure. The road going there is smooth yet in a slight zigzag. The view was amazing and you can overlook the entire city of Naga and its neighboring town. When we almost reach the place there is a part of the road that's still bumpy but can be managed.
My heart beat faster as the signage welcomed us. But it stops when we discover that we are already at the top. All I thought was I could hike up the mountain and follow a trail going up but it's not. They already made stairs for everyone to make going up easier.
There is an entrance fee of thirty pesos each and twenty pesos for the parking. We reach the top by six in the morning for it only takes 30 -40 minutes to travel.
The view captures my heart though I went there for hiking, but it doesn't matter to me for every corner of the mountain makes us glad and awe of the beautiful creation of God. The cold wind covers the heat of the sun. Each view is breathtaking and only the Creator full of wisdom can create this.
There were nipa huts to relax, the stairs made our life easier to go to the top. There were chairs to sit upon where you could ponder your life. There were some trees but the grass was already burned due to heat. As you can see the tip of the mountain almost touches the sky. When we reached the top some people stayed overnight in a tent and you only paid twenty pesos for it. We posed and took pictures around and decided to eat our breakfast.
We opened our food praying and singing before we took our breakfast. We enjoyed the view as we sipped our coffee under the sun. It was an experience unforgettable for everyone sipping a hot coffee on a hot day lol.😅
After eating we cleaned the place and continued our picture-taking. Then we decided to go home for Mr. Sun was already getting stronger.
It was nice to visit the place in the afternoon and experience the sunset, but for us, it was the best experience visiting the place early in the morning. We indeed call it a day.
Thank you for reaching this part, may you enjoy and support my story today. See you on my next blog bye for now 🥰🥰♥️

Thank you ate @chimegipamus!🫶🏻
The place is perfect for hiking early in the morning and in the late afternoon Ma'am @chimegipamus and I think the area is also good for camping. Is there any accommodation and restaurant near the area Ma'am?
You can ask them to cook for you maam @diamondinthesky. Yes you can rent a room also.
Fun hike! I bet those hills are greener on rainy days; the ground is so dry, it is begging for water. I hope it will rain soon—just enough rain, not the kind that can cause flooding. Stay safe and hydrated!
You are right @cindee08 almost all are dried up. Hoping for a rain soon.
