Villa Crisel Mountain Resort
Last March, Grace and I looked for a venue where we would celebrate our daughter’s first birthday. We wanted to spend it to a place where we could host a birthday party for the kids to play and have fun. And the best option for that would be a place with a function room or a space for the birthday program and of course a swimming pool.
The next criterion that we looked into was that the place should be within the city so our guests would never have a reason not to attend because of the distance. The last and the most important thing that we considered was the price. It should not be too pricey because Grace and I still want to be good money spenders.
Villa Crisel
So, after multiple times of browsing facebook, we learned that there is a newly opened mountain resort in Casili, Mandaue City called “Villa Crisel”. They had their soft opening last December 2023. Grace and I went there to do some inquiries so then we could compare it with the price and inclusions of Vista Montana’s clubhouse which is more popular and commercialized.
Vista Montana’s exclusive day use price is 10K pesos while Villa Crisel’s exclusive day use price is 8K pesos which is good for 50-60 pax with the use of the function room and sound system. For Vista Montana, we still need to provide our own sound system and it should not be loud because this is a clubhouse and there are residential houses near it.
In other words, Villa Crisel is the excellent choice. It is just 10 minutes away from our house, it is not so pricey, and it has all the amenities that we needed and looked for.
So, we booked a day use package in Villa Crisel. Although, we have worries like, “what if the function room cannot accommodate all our guests and what if the heat index is so high”, we were blessed that everything went smoothly, the guests found shade in the cottages and kiosks, and the weather last July 2 was perfect!
For me, the highlight of this mountain resort is their swimming pool. It is big and is only 5ft deep which is perfect for our guests who are mostly children. There is also a kiddie pool good for toddlers and small kids. Aside from that, the view of the mountains is very relaxing. I wonder the vibe it will give during night time.
Their kiosks are also very instagrammable and aesthetic! It is not just the regular kiosks with tables and/or chairs, but a place where you can also enjoy a hammock or swing plus the lush green colors of the mountains and the bright blue sky.
Furthermore, the place is well-maintained. Every corner is neat and clean and these add more to its beauty and ambiance.
I will leave the other pictures for you to check and judge if this place is truly beautiful and relaxing.
