Visiting Thung Nham eco-tourism area - Ninh Binh with my brother

The next journey in a short trip with my brother. This is a promised gift for the summer vacation by taking him away because he is in a small country and cannot afford to travel to another province. This countryside is bordered by the sea and has no mountains, so I took him to Ninh Binh province, which is famous for tourism with its majestic limestone mountains. A special experience in his own right. After leading him to visit an underground cave in the previous article, we visited a fairly large tourist area nearby. It is called Thung Nham in Hoa Lu, about 12 km from Ninh Binh city center. So what does it have?

This area includes many rocky mountains belonging to the Trang An landscape complex. There are rivers mixed between these rocky mountains, which are especially cool and beautiful, so it is a combination of many experiences, entertainment and resort services. If you only visit this service complex, it will be a hiking experience with people in good health with a ticket price of 150,000 Vnd(7$)/adult. Tram and boat service for people who are weak and afraid to travel long distances. And of course there will be an extra fee for it, depending on the needs of each person and reasonable economy.

We chose to walk because we feel that there is a tendency in the tourist business to take advantage, perhaps they sell mostly to tourists who come only once. And above all, walking does not need to be paired with other tourists and is more comfortable. There are boat trips through the underground caves where the river flows through the mountain bed, or the more interesting view of the landscape from the river perspective. These mountains are all rocky but the vegetation still grows in that difficult environment to create green patches instead of barren mountains. The boat can only carry a maximum of 6 guests with a ticket price of 60,000 Vnd (2.5 USD) / way, but especially will have access to the bird island where many rare bird species live.

Walking we can still visit Tien Ca cave and large flower hills. It is a place where many flowers are grown in large quantities, creating a splendid ink painting. In my opinion, its purpose is just to create a landscape and is for check-in photography and people who like the scent of the flower field.

Well most Vietnamese tourists will stay here. It is more accessible and suitable for tram access by concrete roads. Pedestrians will prefer the side paved path because it is cooler under the trees.

There is a vegetable garden that provides food for the whole complex, but it seems that it is only for the brave when having to cross a precarious monkey bridge like this. Since it is a floating island, it may be easier for experienced staff or they can go by small boat. Besides the garden they are building other items for small festivals and team building for events, it's under construction but has shown a lot of beauty.

And also indispensable restaurants or cafes nearby that provide drinking water and food after visitors have traveled a long way. Or you can also buy tickets to swim in the artificial swimming pool located in the resort area. Cooling off in this way is also very reasonable and the children love them. Not exaggerating but they are very psychological and know how to do professional travel experiences. Anyway, my brother's happiness is what makes me more satisfied.

What I like the most here is that there is a small pagoda under a very big banyan tree next to the marina. It is visited by many people because of the coolness of the stop and the sound of chanting in the middle of the mountains. There are small huts made of coconut leaves nearby, so it is quite suitable as a place to relax.
