Locking up a couple in order to force them to solve their problems might work even today as this is a way of making someone concentrate fully on the situation. It would be excruciating though because of the lack of any device which could soothe the pain. I do wonder why people need to be forced to communicate when the obvious solution would be to do it voluntarily.

It could solve problems or even making them worse if we look at the news on TV we see daily at 5 PM, but yeah, it's incredible how hard for some is to notice that communication is the key to almost any problem
Has it happened to you to search the entire room for an item which was in front of your eyes? The same is with communication: it is right there but somehow people "manage" to avoid it for years lol
