Watching the Sunset at San Miguel Beach

Sometimes I wake up in the morning with a thought of going out or doing something outdoor. If you have read my introduction blog, you will know that I am into adventures and I am addicted to sunset moments.

When I was having my cup of coffee and breakfast one morning, a thought came into my mind. I want to go at the beach and watch the sunset that day. I always love spoiling myself by doing the things and activities that I want to do within a particular day. So when I had the thought, I already asked my girlfriend, @charmingcherry, if she would want to do the same thing. She answered with a big yes and told me that we should bring her nephew, John Paul, with us. I see no problem with that at all, so the day will be about watching the sunset then.

At exactly 3:00 in the afternoon, I drove my motorcycle going to their house to pick them up. The moment will not be memorable without any foods, so we decided to stop by a snack store and bought the foods and drinks we want. My girlfriend’s nephew requested for a hotdog sandwich, and it is the first thing we bought.

When everything was set, we then drove on the way to the beach. We chose to visit the San Miguel Beach in San Antonio, Zambales.

We looked for a spot where we will have ourselves comfortable. I don’t know why but when we got there, the place is not too crowded. I looked for the part where we will be the only people there, and when found one, we sat down and organized the foods we bought. A box of ordinary pizza, coca cola, water, and hotdog sandwich made our tummies happy that day.

We started eating while sharing stories and conversations together. After a few minutes of resting, John Paul prepared himself since he asked if he could swim and play with the waves. We said yes and told him not to go too far and only be on the spot where we could see him. He felt so excited and then decided to run away from us and started having fun at the shore. While watching over him, my girlfriend and I took some pictures of our feet with the sand.

We did not forget to also try the trending sign here in our country – the “burger ka sa’kin” hand pose. It was a cute shot and I saved it on my phone for memories and remembrance.

And after sitting there with me, my girlfriend stood up and joined her nephew in playing with the waves. I heard their laughter and it means they really enjoyed the day. I took an opportunity to capture their moments. She felt happy when I showed her the candid shots I took.

When she is on the way back to where I am sitting, I asked her to stop and flash a smile. She did what I said, and I clicked my phone camera to keep a picture of her that day too.

Then, John Paul came back from playing at the shore too. The three of us sat down and waiting for the sunset. It was getting darker already and we waited for a few more minutes. We waited for the sun to finally set before deciding to drove home.

It was indeed a great day spent with them.
