First stop Brsečine
All the following pictures are from Brsečine a charming village nestled in the southern part of Croatia, just a short distance from the bustling city of Dubrovnik. Known for its tranquil atmosphere and stunning natural beauty, it offers a perfect escape for those seeking a peaceful retreat.

The village boasts a rich history, evident in its well-preserved stone houses and architectural details. Once a summer retreat for Dubrovnik nobility, Brsečine retains an air of elegance and sophistication.

Surrounded by lush greenery and overlooking the Adriatic Sea, Brsečine is a paradise for nature lovers. Visitors can enjoy hiking, swimming, and exploring the nearby coastline. The crystal-clear waters and secluded coves offer a serene escape from the crowds.
A Taste of Dalmatian Life
Experience the authentic charm of Dalmatian culture in Brsečine. Sample delicious local cuisine, including fresh seafood and homemade olive oil. Immerse yourself in the laid-back lifestyle and warm hospitality of the locals. We had a few wine and fresh food from our own BBQ to celebrate a nice evening out with a view to the water.
While Brsečine may be a smaller village, it offers a unique and unforgettable experience for travelers seeking a tranquil and authentic Croatian getaway

Tomorrow we go to Orebic
The peninsula on which Orebić is located is called the Pelješac Peninsula. It is the southernmost peninsula of Croatia, located in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County. The area is known for its beautiful beaches, vineyards, and olive groves. It is also home to several small towns and villages, including Orebić, which is the largest town on the peninsula. It seems to be a tuff job to get some good beer in this wine area, but I will do my very best.
The Pelješac Peninsula is a popular tourist destination, especially for those who enjoy hiking, biking, and water sports. There are also several wineries and olive oil producers on the peninsula, so visitors can sample the local products.

Den Trick, wie man es hinbekommt, einen Schnappschuss in der Umgebung von Dubrovnik einzufangen, ohne dass ein Tourist den verschwitzten Schädel vor die Linse hält, den musst du mir unbedingt verraten.😉
Bis es so weit ist, bleibe ich meiner selbstauferlegten Devise treu, bis Mitte September der Küste möglichst fernzubleiben.
Weiterhin schöne Tage und immer darauf achten, nicht unter die Sandalen zu geraten.😎
Noch ein Tipp für die Abendstunden: Habe ein Auge darauf, wo Privatiers ihren eigenen Weinkeller öffnen. Dort lagern nämlich oft ganz hervorragende Tropfen!🍷
Wir sind direkt an der überfüllten Stadt vorbeigefahren und haben kleinere Ort mit weniger Sandalen gesucht.
Orebic scheint so dazwischen zu sein, denn es hat schon Leute, aber alles recht übersichtlich und relaxed.

There is no doubt that Croatia has some wonderful landscapes, all perfect for photography.
I already have pics for 2 more posts - but this is vacation time...
Amazing place to enjoy. The beach, the nature, and the food. A lot to offer for everyone visiting this good place.
Your photos make me want to visit the country, which is truly magnificent with the Adriatic Sea. There may be a lack of beer, but it may not appear in these photos 😀
