A few days ago, my husband and I went on a small vacation... You could say it was our honeymoon after a year of marriage. We visited several new places that we found out about through social media. One of the places we visited was the Mangunan fruit garden. Recently, the Mangunan fruit garden has gone viral on social media with the nickname of the land above the clouds... I was curious, so I invited my husband to go there to see it in person.
Mangunan Fruit Garden
We arrived there at noon, so the thin fog that is usually characteristic of Mangunan was gone. It was a shame because it turned out that the fruit season had not arrived yet. The fruit trees were indeed lush and green, but there was no fruit to pick yet. But oh well, we didn't just go there for the fruit.
We didn't sit around much, we preferred to walk around while looking for an interesting spot. Well, in the middle of the walk, there was one spot that really amazed us... But to get there, we had to go down quite steep and rather tiring stairs hehehe... The stone and dirt stairs were quite nerve-wracking, especially if you're not wearing comfortable footwear. But once we got to the bottom, all the tiredness was immediately paid off.
From that spot, we could see an extraordinary view... a wide green valley with a river winding beautifully below it. It really was like a painting! We immediately took the moment to take pictures. My husband was really enthusiastic about taking pictures from various angles, and of course we had time to take selfies together too, Lol.
Even though there were no fruits to pick, this experience was still very memorable. It felt like finding a hidden gem after struggling down the stairs... It was fun. Honestly, we didn't expect to find such a beautiful spot.
For those of you who want a little healing but still get a wow view, Mangunan Fruit Park is a must on your list. You don't have to wait for the fruit season, because the natural atmosphere itself is already soothing. But my advice is, wear comfortable shoes... so it's comfortable to go up and down the stairs and around the park.
Next time, we want to come back here very early in the morning, so we can see the fog and a more serene atmosphere. Or maybe later during the fruit season, so our experience will be even more complete!
