Trying to fully explore Brazil is a total madness because there are so many places to see here, from the smallest to the largest. But since I can't see everything so quickly, and I don't want it to be fast, I've started with the places closest to me, close to the city where I am, which is Curitiba, Paraná State.

This place I'm sharing today has a 4.8 out of 5 rating, but since I truly love nature, it's a 10 for me. 🍃 It's a tourist attraction and, in fact, it's a road called "Estrada La Graciosa," a symbolic tourist destination here in Brazil, as it's one of the most beautiful roads and connects the metropolitan region of Curitiba to the cities of Antonina and Morretes, which are also tourist destinations.

The Estrada La Graciosa is a historic tourist route, it was built in the 18th century, it is surrounded by the Sierra do Mar which are a chain of mountains in the state of Rio de Janeiro, said road has cobbled sections, that is, squared stones so that traffic flows better, in times past this was the route mostly used by cattle drivers heading to the coast of the state.

Something important to mention, and one of the most attractive things about this place, is that just before entering this road, you come across an old but extremely beautiful portico. This is practically a must-see stop to admire the beauty and also to take photographs. Its structure is ancient and undoubtedly full of beauty.

As we continue along, the total connection with nature begins. You can also see small food establishments and souvenir shops. If you continue along the route, you can find a variety of rivers and waterfalls. We made a short stop at a corner called Rio Cascata, which has a small parking lot.

The waterfall, as expected, was beautifully icy, very pretty, and surrounded by stunning greenery. You can enjoy an afternoon barbecue around it, as it has spaces for this, small huts with space for firewood or coals. It's also very interesting that it has public restrooms in perfect condition. Since it was on a small peak, the view was incredibly beautiful. If I recall correctly, there were approximately three huts available.

To be very honest our mission was to get to Morretes and enjoy a weekend of fairs, our plan was to have a barbecue next to the waterfall (in the bohios) and then continue on our way which we did, the barbecue was exquisite but we couldn't continue on our way to Morretes because it started to rain very hard so we only had a nice afternoon of walking and barbecue in contact with nature which was undoubtedly also an incredible experience, my plans are to visit Morretes soon and I will definitely share it with you, thank you very much for your nice company I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. ❤️
