Greetings to all travel lovers. I have to warn you that when you read this it is very possible that I will be enjoying a few days of travel, so it is very likely that I will not answer the numerous messages until the return of this little vacation. Don't be angry.
Saludos a todas/os los amantes de los viajes. Tengo que advertir de que cuando lean ésto es muy posible que esté disfrutando de unos días de viaje, así que es muy probable que no conteste los seguro que numerosos mensajes hasta la vuelta de estas`pequeñas vacaciones. No de enfaden.
On this occasion I am going to walk around Madrid's Christmas (Madrid/Spain) accompanied by three wonderful beings (for now the company can only be virtual) whom I would like to meet in person someday: @sacra97, @vezo and @felixmarranz. I say accompanied, because I don't know if they will come, I hope they will, and that they will accept my invitation to walk around Madrid. Despite the fine rain, the weather is quite pleasant.
En esta ocasión me dispongo a pasear por la Navidad madrileña (Madrid/España) acompañado de tres seres maravillosos (por ahora la compañía sólo puede ser virtúal) a los que me gustaría poder conocer en pèrsona algún día: @sacra97, @vezo y @felixmarranz. Digo acompañado, debido a que no se si vendrán, espero que sí, y que acepten mi invitación a pasear por Madrid. A pesar de la fina lluvia, el clima es bastante agradable.

Today we will walk through these central streets that are close to Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor.

The Christmas atmosphere is already present at the beginning of November. The center of Madrid is already full of thousands of locals and tourists attracted by the light of the big shopping malls, which already announce Christmas, and the large windows of clothing, footwear, sports, jewelry, perfumes or watches in the area.
If you like large human concentrations, being pushed and shoved and giving some elbow, there is no doubt that you have to come to the center of Madrid at Christmas.

Given the time jump from November to December, leaving November 8 behind, we are already on December 3.
Now we start the real Christmas walk. The streets should be full of people, but we have been very lucky with the weather. The rain has dampened the influx of potential shoppers. There are few people, at least few for this time of year. On the other hand, the wet ground together with the colorful lights offer us some rare images to capture in a city where rain is scarce all year round.

With the streets less crowded, the walk becomes more pleasant, and it doesn't rain as much. This makes it possible to pay attention to the details of the Christmas decorations, the buildings, the glittering store windows, etc.

Gracias por este viaje a mi prehistoria. Las dos fotos primeras se corresponden con mi memoria y viendo las calles con los reflejos de las luces de neón, un letrero de zapatos se asocia en mis recuerdos con el peregrinaje, no siempre en Navidad, para comprar zapatos que terminaba en una enorme zapatería con una puerta normalmente pequeña. No recuerdo si se trata del nombre del negocio o de la calle. Cuchilleros.
No estoy seguro de disfrutar un paseo en medio de la multitud, desde hace años la evito como la peste, y trato de anticipar las compras de temporada lo más posible y celebrar en casa.
Este año es diferente (la laptop se muere) y vienen cambios, la mayoría para mejor.
Aún me falta disfrutar las fotos de los nacimientos, pero los veré en la tablet, desde donde no me gusta comentar.
Espero que estés disfrutando las vacaciones, gracias por este regalo.
Te diré mi querido @felixmarranz, que tampoco soy amigo de multitudes y que hubo suerte, con la lluvia, espantó a la masa.

Todavía ando por acá, creo que esto es lo últio que escribo en unos días. Necesito desconectar con urgencia de (casi) todo. Coger energía y volver renovado. No es que Hive me suponga mucho esfuerzo, pero al final del día, junto a videollamadas, ver documentación, etc., son muchas horas de pantalla y me noto saturado.

All of the photos are wonderful, but the red and white illumination that gives the feeling of Christmas is especially nice. I like that Spanish cities have a sense of unity in design. Japanese cities are cluttered😅

For me it is a fantasy world. So illuminated and beautiful that light reaches me. And even more because I know that you have been there walking through all those streets full of people (I don't like this very much) to bring us beauty. Outside of all that consumerism that is more and more related to these dates, we must recognize that there are real gems to admire and it is that popular art that takes by storm the shelves and the streets. Guao que paseo más bonito, simplemente extraordinario. Si recuerdo como se ponía la calle era casi imposible caminar, mi hija me agarraba del brazo porque el volumen de gente te lleva. La exposición de los Belenes hermosa y muy completa, una belleza llena de detalles, se nos queda la vista mirándolos.
