Feliz lunes amigos míos, los abrazo desde este lugar del mundo que a diario me enamora más y más. En esta oportunidad me inspiro para contarles de un domingo de verano de esos que se hacen extrañar.
En el fondo suena Besos de Fuego; un tango que trae a mi mente a mi buena amiga Minú, porque le quedaba hermoso, recuerdo escucharla en una de esas oportunidades que el teatro Luis Mariano Rivera hacía un recital de varios artistas de la ciudad. Ahora viviendo en Buenos Aires puedo disfrutar de toda la musicalidad que la envuelve. Aquí hay sitios de sitios, hoy les traigo imágenes de Caminito, un domingo que paseamos en familia y fue simplemente espectacular. Caminito es una fiesta todo el tiempo los colores, la cerveza, el asado, los choripanes, la gente caminando, es hermoso.
Nosotras (mi hermana y yo) vivimos en Quilmes, una provincia que forma parte de Buenos Aires, pero está un poco distante del centro como tal. Para llegar a Capital, nos movilizamos en tren; el tren Roca, específicamente usamos el ramal que va de capital hasta la ciudad de La Plata, que pronto quiero ir a conocer. Ese domingo, decididas a hacer algo distinto, nos fuimos a recorrer este par de callecitas tan emblemáticas de la ciudad junto con mi cuñado y su hermana y por supuesto la pequeña Lizzie.
La Boca es un barrio de capital ubicado en una de las riveras rioplatenses, muy conocido por ser la casa del reconocido club atlético Boca Juniors, coronada por el insigne estadio La Bombonera. Es todo un atractivo turístico este estadio y usualmente forma parte del recorrido que se hace por esa zona. Pero el recorrido comenzó para mi en la calle principal, donde se encuentran los artesanos

De inmediato se pueden ver los bares al aire libre que están ahí. Usualmente llenos de blues y rock&rPerla y la Ribera Tango tenían música en vivo y ese siempre es el indicador que la cosa esta buena, para mi.
Lamentablemente no pude identificar a los artistas que ese día vi. Pero logré capturar algunas cosas en video.
La tarde estaba pasando y nosotros caminado de acá para allá. Descubrimos una galería que como todas, estaban llenas de artesanías y mercancía para souvenirs con motivos de las emblemáticas argetinidades, desde el pabellón nacional, los escudos de los clubes, el obelisco, hasta la Mafalda de Quino y Maradona, por supuesto, Maradona. Lo que más me gustó de ella fue su piso a cuadros de colores y un pequeño escenario donde tocaba el bandoneón un señor. La contradicción del encuentro entre la melancolía y los colores tan festivos del lugar.

Al salir de esta galería nos encontramos con otros restaurantes donde la propuesta musical era algo más cercana a lo tradicional, el tango se hizo presente en esta oportunidad de la mano de un par de bailarines que demostraron todo su arte en tan apasionada presentación
No es la primera vez que venía a Caminito, en mi primer viaje a la Argentina ya había pasado por acá, fue muy lindo ver cosas que se mantienen en el tiempo y también darme cuenta de la evolución de algunos locales.
En ese momento, en mi primer paseo, anduvimos con una Elizabeth de seis meses y ahora verla caminar por aquí y por allá me hace muy feliz. Nos tomamos una foto muy linda en aquella oportunidad y tratamos de recrearla ahora, me acabo de dar cuenta luego de buscar en mi banco de imágenes antiguas que no tienen ningún parecido más que el lugar porque ese día no nos pudo acompañar mi mamá.

Fue de verdad un domingo que pude disfrutar muchísimo. Siempre muy bien acompañada de mi hermana @cleyna.balbas, siempre me ha gustado viajar con ella y conocer nuevos lugares en su compañía. Ahora realmente no es mucho lo que compartimos de esa forma porque la vida y los intereses nos ha cambiado a ambas, supongo. Este paseo lo logramos hacer y de hecho por ahí tengo guardadas algunas fotos de otros lugares que pronto subiré por acá.

Terminamos el domingo en un restaurante que nos encantó, nos trataron super bien, era un pequeño local donde vendían papas fritas al paso y cerveza artesanal. Acá Está la Papa. Muy bien atendido por su dueño de Jueves a domingo.

Happy Monday my friends, I embrace you from this place in the world that every day makes me fall in love more and more. In this opportunity I am inspired to tell you about one of those summer Sundays that you miss.
In the background sounds Besos de Fuego; a tango that brings to my mind my good friend Minú, because it was beautiful, I remember listening to her in one of those opportunities that the Luis Mariano Rivera theater made a recital of several artists of the city. Now living in Buenos Aires I can enjoy all the musicality that surrounds her. Today I bring you images of Caminito, a Sunday that we walked with the family and it was simply spectacular. Caminito is a party all the time, the colors, the beer, the asado, the choripanes, the people walking, it's beautiful.
We (my sister and I) live in Quilmes, a province that is part of Buenos Aires, but it is a bit distant from the center as such. To get to the capital, we travel by train; the Roca train, specifically we use the branch that goes from the capital to the city of La Plata, which I soon want to visit. That Sunday, decided to do something different, we went to walk this couple of emblematic streets of the city with my brother-in-law and his sister and of course little Lizzie.
La Boca is a neighborhood of the capital city located on one of the riverbanks of the River Plate, well known for being the home of the renowned Boca Juniors Athletic Club, crowned by the famous stadium La Bombonera. This stadium is a tourist attraction and is usually part of the tour that is done in that area. But the tour began for me on the main street, where the artisans are located.

Right away you can see the outdoor bars that are there. Usually full of blues and rock&rPerla and La Ribera Tango had live music and that's always the indicator that things are good, for me.
Unfortunately I couldn't identify the artists I saw that day. But I did manage to capture a few things on video.
The afternoon was passing and we were walking back and forth. We discovered a gallery that like all of them, was full of handicrafts and souvenir merchandise with motifs of the emblematic Argentinities, from the national flag, the shields of the clubs, the obelisk, to Quino's Mafalda and Maradona, of course, Maradona. What I liked most about it was its colorful checkered floor and a small stage where a man played the bandoneon. The contradiction of the encounter between melancholy and the festive colors of the place.

Leaving this gallery we found other restaurants where the musical proposal was somewhat closer to the traditional, the tango was present in this opportunity by the hand of a couple of dancers who demonstrated all their art in such a passionate presentation.
It is not the first time I came to Caminito, on my first trip to Argentina I had already passed by here, it was very nice to see things that are maintained over time and also to realize the evolution of some locals.
At that time, on my first walk, we walked with a six-month-old Elizabeth and now seeing her walking here and there makes me very happy. We took a very nice picture at that time and we are trying to recreate it now, I just realized after searching my old image bank that they have no resemblance other than the place because my mom could not accompany us that day.

It was truly a Sunday that I was able to enjoy very much. Always very well accompanied by my sister @cleyna.balbas, I always enjoyed traveling with her and seeing new places in her company. Now we don't really share much in that way because life and interests have changed both of us, I guess. We managed to do this trip and in fact I have saved some pictures of other places that I will upload here soon.

We ended Sunday at a restaurant that we loved, we were treated super well, it was a small place where they sold chips and craft beer. Acá Está la Papa. Very well attended by its owner from Thursday to Sunday.
