diet and cookies don't run in the same sentence

Just refers to what one eats...It can be good or bad. So:

Cookies: Good
Arugula: Bad
Pizza: Good
Mushy bananas: Bad

You get the idea.

Yeah, I agree, dead and decaying is not a good mix with drinking water although I've been known to push the envelope at times...Dang, sometimes water just needs to be tasterised.

Your weather sounds odd, but I actually look forward to check it out myself. I'm used to 40+ days, we get 45+ a bit...But the cold...I'm not used to it. Sounds like good soup in front of the fire weather. :)

Get limbered up Marielle, your EMA ass-kicking on the way.

Sort:

I once had diet cookies for my allergies with no soy and they are generally also no gluten....trust me...you would prefer eating an arugula and mushy banana salad over those cardboard things...even the chocolate chips taste wrong. The whole box just went in the garbage...no amount of milk could even save that.

Our weather is odd. We have this saying here, if you don't like the weather wait 15 minutes. It doesn't generally get this hot...between 20 and 30 is our general summer temp. Winter tho....gross the cold is cold. -20 to -30 is the norm and we get a few weeks of -40 something but it's dry cold so it's not too bad. I mean not my favorite but I have hiked in -46...as long as you know how to dress it's almost tolerable.

Just reading about those cookies has made me need to call my therapist to book in some sessions. Lol.

I'd actually like to do a snow hike someday. Something about the crunch of snow, rubbing of gortex and them shiny goggles. Seems legit. Probably hard though.

You have weirdo weather.

It's a lot harder to hike in the snow indeed with spikes tho you become some super powered snow and ice trashing machine tho...proper tools for the job! goggles? Now I'm interested!

I really had to beg my taste buds not to leave me after them cookies. They left me anyway. You eat half a cookie and you are coughing out out as much sand as the Sahara desert has.

Aren't goggles a thing? Glasses maybe. My Oakley's will do the job I guess.

Please stop torturing me with them cookies. I need enough therapy as it is. 🤪

Misery loves company.

Maybe if your skiing googles are appropriate ... hiking? I would really like to see that! Yes regular sunglasses in the winter look less funny.

I'm from Australia where snow isn't much of a thing. I've been in the snow of course, here and in NZ, but my snow experiences are quite limited so...Yeah, #clueless

Canada, I could give a course on snow! lol. I don't care for it much but it does some pretty incredible things. Walking on super clear window like ice of deep lakes is neat too. You can see all the fishies swim under your feet.
