¿Cómo están, amigos? En mi más reciente viaje a la ciudad capital iba muy ilusionada de volver a subirme al teleférico de warairarepano, aunque debo admitir que me daba un poco de ansiedad el hecho de pasar 25min transportándome en el aire, sin embargo es una experiencia que todos deberíamos vivir aunque sea una vez en la vida. En esa oportunidad hicimos este recorrido en familia y fuimos un día jueves, porque en fin de semana es una locura la cantidad de personas que asisten.

On my most recent trip to the capital city I was very excited to get back on the Warairarepano cable car, although I must admit that I was a little anxious about spending 25min transporting myself in the air, however it is an experience that everyone should live at least once in life. In this opportunity we did this tour with our family and we went on a Thursday, because on weekends it is crazy the amount of people who attend.
| Lo primero que debes saber es que la entrada tiene un precio de $10 para los venezolanos y $30 para los extranjeros, y maneja 2 tipos de horarios, de Jueves-Viernes de 12:00pm a 6:00pm, y de Sábado-Domingo de 10:00am a 6:00pm; saber esto les evitará perder su viaje en caso de ir a una hora o día equivocado. | The first thing you should know is that the entrance fee is $10 for Venezuelans and $30 for foreigners, and it has 2 types of schedules, Thursday-Friday from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, and Saturday-Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00pm; knowing this will prevent you from losing your trip in case you go at the wrong time or on the wrong day. |
Otra sugerencia que les hago es que se lleven un suéter, porque a partir de las 4:30 la brisa comienza a ponerse fría y si no tienes buena resistencia a este tipo de clima te puedes incomodar. Nosotros desde que llegamos a la cima nos quedamos enamorados de las vistas, definitivamente es de las cosas que más valen la pena de subir, el hecho de poder ver toda la ciudad y contemplar su majestuosidad. Es el sitio perfecto si te gusta la fotografía, pues podrás capturar unos postales increíbles.
Another suggestion is to take a sweater, because after 4:30 the breeze starts to get cold and if you do not have good resistance to this type of weather you can get uncomfortable. Since we got to the top we fell in love with the views, it is definitely one of the most worthwhile things to climb, the fact of being able to see the whole city and contemplate its majesty. It is the perfect place if you like photography, because you will be able to capture some incredible postcards.
| Una vez arriba puedes caminar una distancia no tan larga en donde podrás encontrar distintas actividades para hacer, pues hacen shows de talentos, tienen muchas opciones de comidas y postres, y puedes llegar hasta la entrada del hotel Humboldt, solo que si no tiene reservación allí, no te permitiran conocerlo. También te dan la opción de hacer el recorrido en un Jeep, pero tendrías que pagar una tarifa adicional para esto y nosotros la verdad es que preferimos la experiencia de hacerlo caminando. | Once at the top you can walk a not so long distance where you can find different activities to do, because they do talent shows, they have many options of food and desserts, and you can get to the entrance of the Humboldt hotel, but if you don't have a reservation there, they won't let you visit it. Lo mejor es poder disfrutar de la puesta del sol, el clima delicioso de esa hora y el ambiente familiar, es un plan perfecto para alejarnos de la rutina. Otra cosa que me gustó es que hay muchos emprendedores, encontrarán locales que ofrecen productos como bisutería, ropa, zapatos y artesanías, y eso me parece genial, además, también hay una pista de hielo, solo que tiene un costo adicional y no es tan económico; sin embargo si tienes las posibilidades también puede ser divertido hacerlo.
The best thing is to enjoy the sunset, the delicious weather at that time and the family atmosphere, it is a perfect plan to get away from the routine. Another thing I liked is that there are many entrepreneurs, you will find shops that offer products such as jewelry, clothing, shoes and handicrafts, and I think that's great, there is also an ice rink, but it has an additional cost and is not so economical; however if you have the possibilities it can also be fun to do it.
| Nosotros cerramos la salida brindando con un chocolate caliente, pues ya eran como las 7:00pm y el frío se comenzó a sentir con fuerza jeje, pero fue el mejor momento del día para mí. También nos dimos cuenta que el lugar es aprovechado para todo tipo de actividades grupales, pues en ese momento celebraban una bailoterapia que se veía super divertida, así que ya saben para qué otras cosas tomarlo en cuenta. En resumen nosotros la pasamos increíble, ¿Ustedes se animarían a subir? | We closed the outing toasting with a hot chocolate, because it was about 7:00pm and the cold began to be felt strongly hehe, but it was the best moment of the day for me. We also realized that the place is used for all kinds of group activities, because at that time they were celebrating a dance therapy that looked super fun, so you know what other things to take into account. In short, we had an incredible time, would you dare to go up? |

Siempre es bonito encontrarse con fotos del Ávila por aquí, yo no dudaba en subir a cada momento cuando estaba por ahí jajaja, ese rato de funicular ni se siente cuando uno se entretiene con las vistas, a menos que vayas con algún amigo que le guste ponerse a saltar claro. Genial que hayan aprovechado para subir, el chocolate caliente que hace allá arriba es deliciosoooo!
