A Winter Walk in Woolacombe

Happy New Year! I'm making new years resolutions to get out and about and share more on Hive. It's been a while since i posted any photos of my explorations, but like Slim Shady, I'm back!

So a few days ago we decided to get out of the house. It was cold, windy, and likely to rain, but that wasn't going to stop us, it was that or do housework!

So we found our way to Woolacombe, a beautiful bay and holiday resort on the north coast of Devon. Due to it being the beginning of January, we mostly had the place to ourselves. As you can possibly imagine, come the Summer months, this beach is heaving with surfers and holiday makers, but today I counted about about 30 people, it was blissful.

What I most like about a beach like this is the expansive sky, you can see for ever, and the clouds are fantastic, it's amazing to see the rain and storms approaching from miles away. I hope you get a feel for this from the pictures...
