Hey there, fellow Hiventurers! You're about to join me on an exhilarating tour of Dunggoan Perrelos, Carcar Cebu which came to light during a spontaneous Friday trip that included my daughter along with several of my closest classmates.
It all started around 10 AM. Before noon we were driving toward a public beach within Elvie's neighborhood with relaxed beach companionship as our main objective. However, life once again presented its own arrangement.
Step outside Elvie's house toward the beach. At present, the water level remains very low.
The combination worked nicely for people who can't swim and families with little children, but the swimming conditions were less than ideal.
The minute my daughter switched into her swimsuit all I could see was her excitement. She immediately started feeling adventurous whenever she saw the ocean even though it was at low tide.
Moving forward with determination we chose to continue our search. Elvie had access to a higher level so we decided to explore the spot.
Our way to this spot required climbing up the slope while one classmate held my daughter
Before we reached the high bush area which needed cutting through some thick growth.
Our passage through the bush area proved simpler than expected which let us uncover a private coastal zone. We discovered a difference in water temperature when we departed from the shallow waters.
Laughter and swimming combined with wonderful food created our eventful day.
We were greeted with full hospitality from Elvie's parents when they served us a platter of fresh kinilaw which brought perfection to our grilled bangus (milkfish).
The rain interrupted our day but still failed to depress anyone present at our celebration. Despite the weather adjustments, we found peaceful beach areas under large stone protection for the day to admire the tranquil ocean.
We spent the afternoon remembering our past times while telling stories which deepened our friendships. It served as a reminder of the basic pleasures in life, such as quiet nature, mouthwatering food, and nice friendship.
After a satisfying journey to Dunggoan Perrelos, This unexpected adventure serves as a reminder that sometimes, the most memorable trips are the ones that are unplanned and spontaneous. So, embrace the unexpected, seize the moment, and create your own unforgettable beach memories.
Location: Take the Cebu South Coastal Road southwards. Pass by Talisay City, Minglanilla, and San Fernando. Once you reach Carcar City, look for signs leading to Perrelos. Dunggo-an is a coastal area within Perrelos and the San Roque Chapel Dunggo-an. These can serve as landmarks to help you find your way.
Reminder:
The area is available freely, so visitors need to follow the 'Clean As You Go' principle to properly dispose of waste when cleaning up and ensure everything remains waste-free.
See you on my next blog! Till next time, happy travels Hiventurers! Ciao ✨

It’s always refreshing to hear about unplanned trips turning out so well. Your story really shows how sometimes the best moments come when you least expect them. Plus, the reminder to clean up and leave the place better than you found it is so important for preserving these beautiful spots.
Absolutely, sir, an unplanned trip is the best, We have been planning it many times, yet none of the plans turned into reality 😆. But here we are unplanned trip goes to reality 😆😆😆. As a tourist, we should observe cleanliness and of course, we should leave the place with no trace because we came clean we go clean 💛
The place is so nice, hoping I'll get the chance to visit there one day. 🥰
Go get your friends and unplanned a trip it happens when you don't plan it. 💙☺️ the place will wait for you with your unplanned goers. So better draw it now with your friends aside from that it is free and it is peaceful💙💙💙
We should possess the claygo, especially the place is not my ours, so it's better to take care of the place because we use it for free even if it is not free, we are responsible for our trash. That's a responsible tourist ☺️
