Motorcycle Season 2022: Royal Enfield & JAWA

in Pinmapplelast year (edited)

Without further ado, I would like to dedicate this photo album to my father, because most likely without him it would not exist. I took my motorcycle driving exam back in 2010 and yet, I only used it a couple of times while traveling around Asia in 2016 and 2017. Everything changed two years ago...

Back in the day, when dad was my age, not every young man could afford a car, but it was kind of a matter of honor to own a motorcycle. The one motorcycle to rule them all at that time was the so-called JAWA which used to be made in the modern-day Czech Republic.

Long story short, dad had at least three of those. Two of them got stolen and the third one did not survive until this day. Many years later, the company got new owners, and the production of new JAWA motorcycles was transferred to India. Since they had a sales representative in Lithuania, Dad bought a brand new JAWA 640.

Speaking of motorcycles and speaking of India, one year later he bought Royal Enfield Himalayan. For many years Royal Enfield was a well-known British motorcycle manufacturer. In later years it was bought by guys from India too. They designed many new models that proved to be very reliable.

Two motorcycles need two drivers. That is how I ended up riding beside my dad. All these photos were taken during Motorcycle Season 2022. Some of these trips were taken by my dad alone. The main video was filmed during ''Baltic Jawa 2022''. Enjoy!

Cool! Have you tried posting some travel content on https://travelfeed.io already? :)

Hi, I haven't posted there yet. I think Spanish speakers use pinemapple more because they allow you to post bilingually. I think on travelfeed it is only allowed in English. Maybe someday I'll try to post there, although I like to write in bilingual more. Do you recommend posting on travelfeed? ☺️

I recommend trying and yes when it comes to TF, it is best to post in one language. Also, it has one extra feature. You can use TF to generate a completely separate Blog out of your TF posts.

For example:

All I had to do for now was to buy a domain on Namecheap.com. TF took care of the rest.
Other examples of TF generated Blogs:

Thank u for the info! Surely i'll create my profile there the Next week and start posting in travelfeed too ☺️
