Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well, traveling and enjoying wonderful days! 😊
A few years ago I was in Lasko, a small town in Slovenia, and this month I chose this destination again for a small vacation with my family. We had days off for Easter and used them to visit beautiful Slovenia.
Lasko is a thermal spa that I like to return to because of the thermal pools, I enjoy bathing in warm water, but also because of the beautiful nature and good vibes.
It is located on the Savinja River and is surrounded by greenery in a wooded area.
When we arrived, the weather was sunny and warm, so we immediately went for a walk to a well-known beer house called Savinja to have some Laško beer, which the place is famous for, as it’s brewed there.
A glass of Lasko beer was very pleasant because of the heat and the beautiful setting next to the river Savinja.
Savinja beer house is a great first stop where you can relax a bit after your trip. It's located right in the town center, along the riverbank.
Along with beer, we ate delicious burgers that are a must try here!
After our refreshment at the beer house, we walked through the town.
I love when it's spring and when the flowers bloom.
Every view is perfect for the most beautiful photos.
We spent 3 days here, and the next two days was mostly cloudy and rainy, but that didn't stop us from walking along the long well-maintained paths through the wooded area and beautiful parks.
In the following posts, I will share with you more beautiful spots that I visited in Lasko and I will try to convey my impressions and reasons why I came back here again.

I would move to Slovenia if I could! 😊 It is a very beautiful country and I have visited most of it, but I am always happy to return.

This place seems so peaceful and fresh. The park with the tables near the river is so simple, but also looks like the perfect place for a relaxing pint of beer while listening to the sounds of the river. It seems there are so few people around. The newly blooming flowers are also quite beautiful. I hope some day to visit Slovenia. Thank you for sharing! :)
My impression was also that there were not many people there. There were a lot of tourists in the hotel, but I met very few people on the streets. It is quiet, you can only hear the river and the chirping of birds, but that was exactly what I needed this time to rest. 😊 Thanks for the detailed comment and have a great day!🤗

Wow! A wonderful place! I can just imagine how breathtaking it must be, especially with the trees bursting into color with their beautiful blooms. It adds such a vibrant, fresh energy to the peaceful atmosphere. Nature's colors are like pure bliss.

I have a relative living in Slovenia, it is beautiful. What he told me is that it is a relaxing country that allows you to connect with yourself. The tranquility and nature is part of that which allows you to understand yourself.
Well said, that's exactly what I mean! Slovenia connects you with yourself, you get inspiration to live healthier, to ride a bike, to take care of your environment... I wanted to move there many times, but something is holding me back in my country.
I've see Slovenia only after I came back to Croatia and I only visited few villages but me and my hubby plan to visit this country properly maybe in our next holidays 💚💚 seems so beautiful ❤️

Slovenia is such a beautiful country indeed. I made my first friend from Slovenia on the Internet about 16 years ago, he used to show me pictures from his country through Facebook Messenger hehehe hope to visit it someday.
