LOUVRE PARIS

Established more than 220 years ago, The Louvre Paris holds so many titles: The world's most visited museum, a Historic Landmark, and the home of the Mona Lisa. The iconic pyramid glass was built in 1988 as part of the Grand Louvre Project, which started in 1981. Located in the main courtyard of the Louvre Palace, Pyramide du Louvre (Louvre Pyramid) is a large glass and metal structure designed by American architect I. M. Pei and serve as the main entrance to the museum. The Louvre remains one of the most important cultural institutions in France. It is an essential stop for anyone interested in the history of art and culture. The museum has since been expanded and renovated several times, and today it houses over 35,000 works of art and objects from ancient civilizations to the 19th century. It is best known for its stunning collection of French and European paintings, including works by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Rembrandt. The museum also boasts a vast collection of sculptures, decorative arts, and ancient artifacts worldwide, including the famous "Venus de Milo" and the "Egyptian Sphinx."

I have visited Louvre Paris several times, and there are still many artworks that I haven't paid attention to closely. So much to see, so much to learn, and so much little moments to enjoy. It now makes sense what Paul Cezanne once said: " The Louvre is the book in which we learn to read." Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing your visual trip. I like how you used the pyramid structure as an entry point to introduce the Louvre Museum. And the way you showed different works in the museum through your photos is very effective. You did a great job at capturing the essence of the museum.

The shots are beautiful 😍

There are a lot of reasons to love the Louvre in Paris – and I’ve got a few of my own. For me, it’s the perfect mix of art, history, and culture. Every time I visit, I find something new to appreciate.

The art, of course, is a big part of why I love the Louvre. The collection is astounding, and it’s always a pleasure to see some of the world’s most famous paintings up close. But I also enjoy the history and culture of the museum itself. The building is beautiful, and the story behind it is fascinating. I always learn something new when I visit, and that’s something I really value in a museum.

Thank you @danokoroafor !
Indeed, the Louvre Paris is amazing place to visit again and again :)

Beautiful post and I really love how good these pictures turned out. Amazing Photography!💯🙌

Thank you @salicj !
In term of photography, I am kind of planed in advance before visiting any place. Thus it help me to decide the composition and angle of each photos.

Hi Julius this is so great. Thanks for taking us to The Louvre with you. I like the idea of Hive bloggers making more curated and intentional posts.

I also like how you have 5 vertical pictures in a row. I just did a post about formatting 22 ways to format pictures in posts by Sara Jarvie. I should add this as an option in the comments. Very cool!

Thank you @sjarvie5 !
I use more than 2 images in rows when the contents have similar vertical composition. I found it very interesting and gives illusion of being in the same series.
I just visited your post about "22 ways to format pictures in post.." and they are great and very useful!

Thanks so much I am so happy to put it together.

As always, amazing shots. 💣

Absolutely love the clicks and the whole format. 💯

Thank you so much @riz611 !

Keep up the great work man!

Cheers 🥃
