Hi Everyone,
So as I said in my previous post I'm combining Day 8 & 9 together as I've already shown you the ship, room as well as the type of food we've been treated to. There isn't much more to say / show in regards to that as our day at sea consisted of letting the kids run off some steam in the pool as well as eating.
The splash area is a really good place for the children to cool off in the hot weather, yes we've got hot weather in France compared to the thunderstorm we had in Hamburg.
Can you see the guy stood on top of the bridge? He’s holding the hose for the guy below who’s cleaning the windows. Not sure I’d like to be the one on top of the bridge but I’m sure the views are spectacular.
Le Verdon Sur Mer is the port area for Bordeaux even though Bordeaux is around a 1.5-2 hour coach journey inland. This tiny little town doesn’t have much to see, actually it has nothing to see apart from a supermarket and church. There is a beach which we visited and even though the sand was really fine white sand, the water was absolutely murky brown. This time we are here as well we have been bitten a lot so instead of being food for these pests we decided it was better for all of us to go back to the ship to relax.
Once back on the ship, we let the children run riot in the splash zone area and watch a few films in the room.
Next stop is Bilbao, well we dock in Getxo and to get into Bilbao we are taking the local Metro.
