Walk on the beach in Lahinch, Ireland by the Atlantic Ocean / Spacer po plaży w Lahinch w Irlandii nad Oceanem Atlantyckim

The beach becomes enormous at low tide and can reveal treasures that are usually covered with water. But most of all, being there, in the Irish Lahinch, I felt how great it is to be in such a huge space. I was walking on wet sand in wellingtons and soaking up the atmosphere of freedom and wildness of this place.

Plaża podczas odpływu robi się ogromna i może ukazać skarby, które zazwyczaj przykryte są wodą. Ale przede wszystkim będąc tam, w irlandzkim Lahinch, poczułam jak wspaniale jest być na tak ogromnej przestrzeni. Chodziłam w kaloszach po mokrym piasku i chłonęłam atmosferę wolności i dzikości tego miejsca.

See how empty it was ... how much space I shared with a small number of people. I definitely prefer such a beach to the crowded Baltic beaches in summer... although if you went to the Baltic beaches in autumn, you could probably also find such secluded places.

Zobaczcie jak tam było pusto... jak rozległą przestrzeń dzieliłam z niewielką ilością ludzi. Zdecydowanie wolę taką plażę od zatłoczonych plaż nad Bałtykiem latem... choć gdyby wybrać się na nadbałtyckie plaże jesienią, pewnie można by też znaleźć takie ustronne miejsca.

On that day, the ocean was relatively calm and the water flowed into the beach in a gentle, measured rhythm. Sometimes I would go into the ocean, submerged up to my calves (I was wearing my shoes all the time) and I felt the water pressing against me and then running away from me... I felt as if it was massaging me ... Probably a better experience would be barefoot, but I'm not a walrus and ocean water I felt too cold. But while wearing wellingtons, I could feel the power of the ocean waves.

Tego dnia ocean był w miarę spokojny i woda wpływała na plażę w łagodnym, miarowym rytmie. Wchodziłam czasem do oceanu zanurzona po łydki (cały czas byłam w butach) i czułam jak woda napiera na mnie, a później ucieka ode mnie... czułam jakby mnie masowała... Pewnie lepsze wrażenia byłyby na boso, ale nie jestem morsem i oceaniczna woda wydawała mi się zbyt zimna. Za to będąc w kaloszach mogłam poczuć moc oceanicznych fali.

In the distance I saw houses with a view to the ocean. Someone is lucky to live in a place like this... unless there is a storm and huge waves are forming. There were many surfers in the ocean. I also watched them for some time. They had a great joy surfing. Suitable waves were forming a short distance from the beach.

W oddali widziałam domki z widokiem an ocean. Ale ktoś ma szczęście mieszkając w takim miejscu... chyba, że jest sztorm i tworzą się ogromne fale. W oceanie pływało wielu surferów. Ich również obserwowałam przez pewien czas. Fajnie sobie surfowali. W niewielkiej odległości od plaży tworzyły się odpowiednie dla nich fale.
