After having spent the whole day in Las Salinas Grandes , we ran to the hotel to take an urgent shower: between the wind and the flying salt my hair was completely hardened. Our travel package included breakfast and dinner, so we had a bite to eat and soon set off for another tour, all in less than two hours 😂! I always say that these types of trips are not to rest: during the week we were there we slept very little and traveled a lot, but absolutely everything was worth it ❤️.
Después de haber pasado todo el día en Las Salinas Grandes, corrimos al hotel a darnos una ducha urgente: entre el viento y la sal volando mi pelo estaba completamente endurecido. Nuestro paquete de viajes incluía desayuno y cena, por lo que comimos algo y pronto partimos a otro paseo, ¡todo en menos de dos horas 😂! Siempre digo que este tipo de viajes no son para descansar: durante la semana que estuvimos allí dormimos muy poco y recorrimos mucho, pero absolutamente todo valió la pena ❤️.
One of the extra excursions we did was a night walk through the city of Salta. There, a guide was telling us about the most important points of the city, such as historical buildings and those with important architecture.
Una de las excursiones extra que hicimos fue un paseo nocturno por la ciudad de Salta. Allí, un guía nos iba contando acerca de los puntos más importantes de la ciudad, como edificios históricos y aquellos con arquitectura importante.
This walk culminated with the ascent to Cerro San Bernardo, the most important in the area since the city is at its base. We went there by bus, but there are excursions that take you on foot. It has a height of 1,400m, surely a good physical condition is required to master it 💛!
Este paseo culminó con el ascenso al Cerro San Bernardo, el más importante del área ya que la ciudad se encuentra en su base. Nosotros fuimos hasta allí en micro, pero hay excursiones que te llevan caminando. Tiene una altura de 1.400m, ¡seguro se requiere un buen estado físico para dominarlo 💛!

At the top of the hill there was a singer with a guitar who gave us a beautiful song and when we returned, the trip coordinator gave us wine for us to toast and a flower to each of the women who were there. I love this type of gesture, it seemed super sweet, so we had a beautiful night ❤️.
En la cima del cerro había un cantante con una guitarra que nos regaló una linda canción y al regresar, el coordinador del viaje nos regaló vino para que brindemos y una flor a cada una de las mujeres que estábamos allí. Yo amo este tipo de gestos, me pareció super dulce, por lo que tuvimos una noche hermosa ❤️.

After this journey, many of our colleagues continued the party, but my partner Irma and I decided that enough was enough. Instead of that, we prefer to return to the hotel to prepare our suitcases since the next day we started our trip back to Buenos Aires. We got up very early to ... go back to the city center but this time during the day 😅.
Después de esta travesía, muchos de nuestros compañeros continuaron la fiesta, pero mi compañera Irma y yo decidimos que ya era suficiente. En lugar de eso, preferimos volver al hotel a preparar nuestras valijas ya que al otro día emprendíamos viaje de regreso a Buenos Aires. Nos levantamos muy temprano para... volver al centro de la ciudad pero esta vez de día 😅.
We visited the central 9 de Julio square, where around there was a church, a town hall and several businesses to buy food and traditional articles. The morning was nice, luckily we had a great last day ❤️.
Visitamos la plaza central 9 de Julio, donde alrededor había una iglesia, un cabildo y varios negocios para comprar comida y artículos tradicionales. La mañana estuvo agradable, por suerte tuvimos un último día genial ❤️.

This entire downtown area has beautiful, colonial architecture. Fortunately, the authorities have ensured the preservation of these historic buildings that make the city so beautiful.
Toda esta zona del centro tiene una arquitectura hermosa y colonial. Por suerte, las autoridades han velado por la preservación de estos edificios históricos que hacen tan linda a la ciudad.

The main church was beautiful: painted a pink color and very crowded at this hour. Grateful to have my new cell phone with which I was able to take a picture in which it came out almost complete ❤️.
La iglesia principal era hermosa: pintada de un color rosado y muy concurrida a esas horas. Agradecida de tener mi nuevo celular con el que pude tomarle una fotografía en la que salió casi completa ❤️.
The same happened with the council. The guide explained to us that this town hall has some irregularities in its construction, such as that it is not symmetrical in terms of its windows and that for years it went from being private to public property where they constantly changed their function. It currently has a museum where you can explore part of the history of this city.
Lo mismo ocurrió con el cabildo. El guía nos explicó que este cabildo tiene algunas irregularidades en su construcción, como que no es simétrico en cuanto a sus ventanales y que durante años pasó de ser propiedad privada a pública en donde cambiaban su función constantemente. Actualmente posee un museo en el que se puede recorrer parte de la historia de esta ciudad.
At the end of the guided tour, we had free time to do whatever we wanted before returning to our homes. During the morning another man joined the group we had with Irma and the three of us went to lunch together. I felt like going for a walk with my grandparents, it was a lot of fun 😅.
Al finalizar la visita guiada, tuvimos tiempo libre para hacer lo que quisiéramos antes de volver a nuestras casas. Durante la mañana otro señor se nos unió al grupo que teníamos con Irma y los 3 fuimos juntos a almorzar. Yo me sentía como de paseo con mis abuelos, fue muy divertido 😅.

Despite being my first solo trip, I didn't feel that way at all. Walking in a group was one of the most beautiful things I did: all the people sharing the same energy of traveling and knowing a new place make the days very bearable, so much so that time passes very quickly ❤️.
A pesar de ser mi primer viaje sola, no me sentí de ese modo para nada. Pasear en grupo fue una de las cosas más lindas que hice: toda la gente compartiendo la misma energía de viajar y conocer un lugar nuevo hacen los días muy llevaderos, tanto que el tiempo pasa rapidísimo ❤️.
And thanks to you friends at Hive for accompanying me throughout all these publications and for the support received.
