That's an incredible experience staying amongst the mountains in the middle of nowhere. It's so beautiful, even without seeing the aurora which is always a big bonus. I've only seen them once in Norway and it's stunning.

Mixed emotions? Knowing you'll be safe back home but leaving such a beautiful place?

I'm glad you've been able to see them!

Being up there so far away from civilization is a very freeing feeling. I miss it so much. Life is too stressful. But yes, mixed emotions because I am somehow also a homebody.
