Hello everyone! It's Snowpea here!! LUT took me to London to see the Christmas lights this week. Everything was so magical and especially special as I'm celebrating my third birthday with LUT this Christmas. Yah!!! I'm a big girl now 😀
All the buildings in London are very big and tall. Since I'm just a little doll, I had to walk around everywhere with my head held up high to see things. Like this beautiful building lit up in green and red, even the buildings celebrate Christmas in London.
Covent Garden
LUT took me to Covent Garden, it's not really a garden. It's a big area by with lots of shops, and lots and lots of people. And of course lots of big tall enchanting Christmas trees. The Christmas tree colour fitted perfectly with my outfit and LUT took a pretty photo of me sitting on the tree, that's the first photo you see above.
Covent Garden had a very very big Christmas tree, so big that even when there were loads of people around it, it's still looks very big.
It has lots of sparkly lights, perfect for another photo.
Leicester Square
Next we went to a Christmas market in Leicester Square. Leicester Square is in the middle of central London and one of the busiest places I've ever been. Even LUT said she hasn't seen a place so busy for a long time. We had to queue to get into the Christmas market, luckily we didn't have to wait to long and LUT held on to me tight in case I got lost. Imagine what a disaster it would be to lose a little doll in a busy Christmas market in central London.
Once we finally got inside the Christmas market, there were people everywhere. I was very scared and we could hardly move. LUT had to edge slowly through the crowd.
I don't know how many stalls there are inside the market. It's a little difficult for a little doll who can't read, to find out much information. And LUT didn't know either. We saw a very busy stall with lots of lights and a soldier in the front. LUT said the soldier is called a nutcracker and is a doll like me. She also told me in German tradition nutcrackers brings good luck at Christmas, just like I do to her. Awh!! That's so sweet of LUT🥰
The stall sold sausages cooked on a big grill over coal, and smelled delicious. LUT wanted to get one to eat then we found out it cost £11 for one! That's a lot of money, even a little doll like me knows that! We didn't get it in the end.
Then we saw a toasted marshmallows stall. Yummy, I love marshmallows, they're so soft and fluffy and great to play with. I love jumping inside bags of marshmallows and then nibble them😋.
This stall gives you two big marshmallows on a stick and you can toast them over the fire. That sounds even more fun than jumping inside a bag of marshmallows. I just need to make sure I don't fall inside the fire. That would be an even bigger disaster than getting lost in the Christmas market. Then we found out one stick of marshmallows cost £5!! That's cheaper than a sausage but still a lot of money for two marshmallows. LUT said she'll get me two big bags of marshmallows instead. I prefer that better.
This is my first visit to a Christmas market. We walked around the market once, it didn't take long even if we had to fight through the crowds. Then we decided to leave. People were still coming in as we were leaving. And that's the end of my Christmas market visit.
The Now Building
LUT knew I was a little upset from the crowds at the Christmas market and said she'll take me to somewhere that she'll know I will love. She really knows me, and made the perfect choice. The Now Building has a massive indoor screen on the four walls and ceiling, and plays immersive shows throughout the day.
We watched one called the Butterfly Trail. It had colourful AR butterflies flying around a Peruvian forest against a soundtrack. It was very relaxing and calm, perfect after my crazy Christmas market experience.
Then we saw Emoji Shower : Christmas edition. True to it's name, lots of cute Christmas emojis dropped from the ceiling down along the walls. I wanted to reach out to catch them!! It's definitely the highlight of my day and a great way to round off my visit to London.
Love Snowpea
Happy start of the week!... What a beautiful and original post you have shared with us through the eyes of LUT. Christmas in your area is dreamy, already the nature makes it very nice, but the decorations bring magic. That place where the nutcracker is at the entrance was my prefrido in this tour, although I loved everything, thank you very much for sharing it, I spent a very enjoyable time reading you and showing these pictures to my wife. A hug in the distance ❤️
I'm glad you and your wife enjoyed our little tour of London @jesuslnrs. There was a very good Christmas atmosphere every where, just a little too crowded for my liking
Covent Garden is absolutely my favourite part of London, especially at Christmas. Theres always something magic about the capital in the run up to Christmas. Loved to see all the people in their wooly hats! All that's missing is a few snowflakes, although I see there is one in your comment feed lol ;-)
Haha! Yes, too much low quality spamming to milk rewards. I DV with a warning and he cut back to two a day so I stopped DV. Then he must have got greedy again when he saw the DV stopped and started to spam again. People just don't learn do they?
I guess you're not back for Christmas this year?
Sadly not. Came back earlier to catch some nice weather but if you get that white Christmas over there, there may be regrets! Can't believe Christmas is almost upon us already!
Happy 3rd Birthday Snowpea 🥳🥳🥳🥳 wooohhoooo!
Wonderful to celebrate it like this, visiting London and all the Christmas lights.
I so have to agree with you… I would like the stalls, lights and decorations but sooooo many people 🫣 nope… just too much.
Luckily Pauline knows you well and took you to something special.
The images and emoji’s coming down on the screens are pretty cool 😎
Beautiful visit.
Have both a wonderful new week 👋🏻😊

It was quite special spending time in London and experiencing the Christmas atmosphere. The ocean of people was very overwhelming for me because I'm so little but overall I had a lovely time.

The Christmas feels ✨
I don't feel here right now in my area at the moment.
I wish I can go back 10 years ago when Christmas is like this at my place:)
I love those lights!
I think Christmas feels a lot Christmassy in cold countries. That said, I've never experienced a summer Christmas before. I hope this post will bring some Christmas vibe to you
enjoy the time and moment of your trip Happy holiday
Thanks

You have downvoted a total of five of my legal posts last night which is a huge shame for the Hive platform. I think it's torture for me. I condemn it. And I want a clear explanation why I was downvoted.

Beautiful moment, wish they decorate that dry tree up there with lights the view would have been top notch
Which dry tree do you mean?
This one
Great shots, hope you didn't get fleeced too much whilst there!!!!!
Nope, not £11 for a sausage or £5 for two big marshmallows, what a rip off!!
rip off indeed!
Looks like Snowpea found lots of pretty lights to see! How fun! 😊
Yes l, there were lots of shiny sparkly lights in London, Snowpea loves it

I'm amazed to see these beautiful places, especially with so many people and all those tall, grand buildings! Covent Garden looks so magical with its huge Christmas tree and sparkling lights, and Leicester Square seems so lively with the bustling Christmas market. The Now Building with its immersive shows like the Butterfly Trail and Emoji Shower must have been a truly unique experience.
Cheers to Snowpea for being such a well-traveled little doll!

What a magical Christmas Market you got to experience LUT. I loved everything except the crowds. I too prefer a quieter time.
I was so scared of the people, luckily I was sitting safely inside LUT's bag and could still peep out to see everything
I don't know why I didn't see this post.... What a mess! No worse than any that could happen to Snowpea, of course. Happy belated birthday to her. And Kudos to you.
How lovely you two are! You had me smiling from start to the end, LUT. 😍
Snowpea says thanks @nanixxx, she's a little tired after her trip but enjoyed it very much
That Christmas market is drawing quite a crowd.
