Blog#006: Working while Travel! (A trip to Palawan)

in Pinmapple2 months ago

Hi hive friends! Another travel blog that I am going to share!

Let me start with my first ever ride on Airplane. When I am busy at my reporting, my head department head was telling me that I am one of the choices to go to Puerto Palawan because we have an accounting seminar at that time. I was so overwhelmed and scared at the same time because we are going to ride an airplane which is my first time. At first, I was scared but when I saw the airplane in person and sit and experience to be there, It feels great. I was sitting at the back of the plane and near the pathway (which I hate because I want to experience near the window). But It's ok. 😅

When we arrived at Palawan, I was amazed by the beautiful beaches and Nature. I felt that I was lucky to experience god's creation. We stayed at the hotel near the beach for about 4days and 3 nights.

First day in Palawan is attending the seminar. I've met other Accounting Staff from different area (btw, my handled area is Mega Manila).

Second day, we went to Underground River. We ride a boat for about 2hours to see the river. Before we reach the river, we saw monitor lizard " Bayawak”. Our tour guide says that there's a lot of species in there is a lot of strays or in danger species that are free in that area. When we enter in the cave, I was amazed by the formation of the Cave and think that God is truly amazing for creating such a beautiful cave. The water on the river is Clear Blue that you can see under the water.

Third day, we went to Puerto Princesa Palawan El Nido for Island hoping. I don't remember the other beaches we went but there's one beach that I remember and that is the "Seven comandos beach". According to the google; "There’s an old myth surrounding the Seven Commandos Beach: due to a shipwreck, seven soldiers got lost at the sea. Looking for a temporary place, the soldiers found the Seven Commandos Beach.
After residing in the place while repairing their ship, the soldiers carved the words “Seven Comandos” in a large rock before sailing away. The locals found the engravings and use it to name the place.
Although there is no proof to debunk whether the myth is real or not, it is true that the Seven Commandos Beach is must-see.
It's a popular attraction included in El Nido island-hopping tour A. It has a stretch of cream sand, towering limestone cliffs, and rentable cottages for the visitors." When we reach the beach, our tour guide prepares our lunch with a lot of different seafoods and grilled fish. We also play volleyball there because there is playing area. Such a great experience! I wanted to go back there.
