Right now we are on our way from the beautiful island Ko Phangan to the higher situated smaller island Ko Tao. With the cab from our hotel we were brought with 4 other people to the pier. The ride across the island is really scary in some places but still very exciting. Arrived at the pier we had to change the other pier, because our boat to Ko Tao leaves from a smaller port. The speeed boat was already there and was still busy being filled with fresh water.
Our boat departs at 12:30 and the crossing to Ko Tao costs about 500 baht per person.
On our boat trip were not so many passengers - the ship includes 429 people and felt on the ship was not so busy. Also seems that not so many tourists travel to Ko Tao, because the island itself has not so many hotels, as Ko Phangan
Jetzt gerade sind wir auf dem Weg von der schönen Insel Ko Phangan auf die höher gelegene kleinere Insel Ko Tao. Mit dem Taxi von unserem Hotel sind wir mit 4 weiteren Personen zum Pier gebracht worden. Die Fahrt über die Insel ist an manchen Stellen schon echt gruselig aber doch sehr aufregend. Am Pier angekommen mussten wir die weitere Anlegestelle wechseln, da unser Boot nach Ko Tao von einem kleineren Hafen ablegt. Das Speeedboot war schon da und war noch damit beschäftigt mit Frischwasser gefüllt zu werden.
Unser Boot legt um 12:30 ab und die Überfahrt nach Ko Tao kostet ungefähr 500 Baht pro Person.
Auf unserem Bootstrip waren garnicht so viele Passagiere - das Schiff umfasst 429 Personen und gefühlt war auf dem Schiff nicht so viel los. Scheint auch so, das nicht so viele Touristen nach Ko Tao reisen, da die Insel selbst garnicht so viele Hotels hat, wie Ko Phangan.
We were able to sit right up front. I do not expect that we will have a wild crossing. The trip takes probably a little more than an hour and in the comfortable seats you can linger well in the good air-conditioned boat
Wir konnten uns direkt nach ganz vorne setzen. Ich gehe nicht davon aus, das wir eine wilde Überfahrt haben werden. Die Fahrt dauert wohl etwas mehr als eine Stunde und in den gemütlichen Sitzen kann man in dem gute klimatisierten Boot gut verweilen.
On to the next! Yeah Ko Tao is really a lot smaller and less busy and that is why we skipped it in november because it was already not crowded everywhere so I expected ko tao to be deaddd.. Also by us the water was not really clear because of the rain seaon leftovers so no point in going diving then. How is the water now by you guys?
And did you enjoy phangan and where did you stay?
At the moment, were we just arrived our little small beach was filled good with people . We are at the moment at the tanote beach and stay at the montalay resort. There is a German speaking diving school next us. We are thinking about to make a Open water dive license for 11k baht at the moment.
In ko Phangan we were at the haad Yao bay, @rivalzzz recently posted about it. It was a nice area there.
Yea oh ko tao it's very less busy and that's nice to calm down.

Thanks 🙏 yea Island Hopping is really fun here in Thailand. Love to see a lot of different places 😊 Dragons we only have in our Guild on Splinterlands. But later the day we go snorkeling and maybe we see some nice fishes.
