I want to share my recent travel from CDO to Bukidnon.
Bukidnon is a Must-Visit destination because it has many natural attractions. Whether you are an adventure seeker or a nature lover, it has something to offer everyone. Let's dive in. I took some pictures along the way, and it felt good because the weather went along with us.
We passed by along Bry. Balubal and took pictures of Macajalar Bay. Motorists stopped here to admire the beautiful sea view and drink a coconut nearby.
This is the Manolo Fortich Zigzag Road, also known as Bitukang Manok. It is one of the most dangerous roads, but the view is beautiful.
Then, we passed by Kisolon, Bukidnon, along the road. The beautiful mountains are just facing each other, so you can take a picture of them.
Finally, we reached Malaybalay City! To get there, you can take a bus, a car, or a motorcycle. It is just a two-hour and twenty-minute ride. We arrived at 5:30 p.m.
As we reached nearby the city it was very foggy and very cold. I can feel my whole body shaking because I did not expect it to be that cold. I only wear a thin jacket.
Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, is known for its cool climate and scenic landscapes.
Many people love to visit the city because of its many tourist spots. At night we go to the Capitol Ground to see the biggest Christmas Tree ever lit!
I also took a photo of the moon using a Samsung Ultra S24 (my mommy's phone). That is the moon above the Christmas tree. See the first picture.
Some companies also participated in the Christmas decorations showcasing different talents in lighting display and there was local musicians performed on stage.
People enjoyed the holiday atmosphere. The place never fails the visitors because there are lots of foods and activities it can offer. In addition to the lighting display, there is also a Christmas bazaar showcasing locally made products and food stalls.
This is the trending halo-halo ("mix-mix" in English) in Mindanao and it is very delicious and it is not very sweet. I haven't taken a picture of the halo halo but believe me it tastes extremely good.
Here are some of the food stalls in the vicinity. There were so many foods to buy and eat but I was so full because we had already eaten at the house of our cousin. I just enjoy the view and I am happy to see many people enjoying their food.
The next day we went to the Monastery of the Transfiguration this is not just a tourist spot but a place for reflection while enjoying the view.
Then we go to Kaamulan ground.
We only have a little time to visit the city because we have to go back home. There are a lot of places to go and see in Malaybalay but I have so little time to see all of them. I will come back soon and show you more of Malaybalay. Thank you so much for reading my blog! See you next time.
