Enjoy the beach with a million mysteries

If there were two choices, would you choose the beach or the mountains? If I was asked to choose, I would prefer the mountains compared to the beach because the air is very fresh, the sound of silence will be my best friend because I don't really like crowds, it's far from pollution and the green trees inspire many things when I look at them. But that doesn't mean I never visit the beach. Occasionally I will also visit the beach to play in the water and enjoy the sand on the beach even though I am not good at swimming like when I went on this trip to the sweet water beach in West Sumatra.

This beach has two sides, one is the beach with black sand which in my opinion is not very good because the water is murky and the sand is also black mixed with mud, but the beach which has black sand has many folk tales which have become very famous legends in the world. throughout the country and even abroad, namely a folklore from the province of West Sumatra which tells the story of a child who was disobedient to his parents and then the child was cursed to become a stone by his mother. And it is the cursed stone that is on this sweet sand beach that is a favorite for tourists because they are curious about the disobedient child named Malin who was cursed to become this stone.

I will not lead opinions so that you believe this is a true story or just a bedtime story for children, because up to now, even though I have witnessed for myself how children who have been cursed become stones, there are doubts in my heart whether these stones really are. original or has been engineered by humans to make the story seem real. and in the place where I took this photo, Malin, the disobedient child, was prostrate and had become a stone, then around Malin there were several items that we usually find on ships, namely ropes, barrels made of wood, anchors, cloth and ship hulls, all of which had been turned into stone and I'm still amazed by this because it's like beyond logic, try to see this is the same as it is and there is no cement element here, this is made from real stone, broken cotton and has become stone like a true story but I still I don't believe the clear truth in this story. So, continue to do good things with lots of love for your parents and the people around you and don't make other people hate you because of something that is not worth imitating.

The second side is the beach with clear and blue sea water, the sand also has white sand and is not muddy even though there is still one area between this side and the other side of the beach, we only need to walk for about 10 minutes or take the AVP which is already there. rented no more than 5 minutes away. It's really a stark contrast to the beach near the Malin Kundang rock. Because here we can enjoy the gentle breeze under the coconut trees and drink the water, then because the sea water here is very clear, visitors prefer to play in the water on this beach, and compared to the Malin Kundang beach side, I saw more people Adult visitors mostly take beach photo spots here.

From my post, do tourist attractions in your country have things that are beyond reason and have developed to become stories or legends? As if it really is a true story, I want to know the story. I hope you leave it in the comments column, greetings from maytom, Indonesia

Greetings @maytom, it's hard to choose between beach and mountain, both have their attractions and beautiful scenery, I think I would combine a bit of each in a fun ride heh, heh.
