I think you have misintepreted my comments. I do not need to advertise my posts at all but surely we want more people to see what we are doing here on Hive?

    I checked your comment and I think I haven't misinterpreted anything. I'm just replying to your comment. First, you are so obsessed with titles because you thought I got it wrong. I answered that it's not a title. It's a category of the landmark you're sharing. Your reply then stated that for SEO purposes, you wanted the location to be accurate. I already told you that we choose the nearest municipality or village to the landmark.

    Second, you have this:

    I just answered that pinmapple's Travel Digest is for the Hive audience. It's a compilation post after all. I didn't say that the digest is "solely" for the Hive audience. There's a difference and I didn't mean to be exclusive.

    Third, this:

    That's a different initiative. You haven't seen pinmapple tweeted anything. Again, it boils down to individual choices.

    So, you haven't used pinmapple in a long time and it seems you wanted to change how we do things in pinmapple. I usually don't mind on matters like this, that's why it took longer for me to reply in your comment, but as a curator of that day, I have to clarify especially on how we do the curation.

    Lastly, this caught my attention:

    It appeared to me like I wasn't doing my job right. And I will still stand by my previous comment that pinmapple does not care about SEO until there's a mandate from our community leader to do so. Surely, we want people to see what we are doing here in Hive, but the Travel Digest is not that avenue. There are a lot of initiatives and I have been involved in most of them. I even brought a lot of content creators here.

    If you want, you can do SEO to your post. You have all the freedom to do so. But saying that I should change the digest just to be accurate and for SEO purposes doesn't sit well with me.

      I think we are talking at cross purposes here.

      You are free to do the digest however you like. It is your work after all and you are in charge of your work.

      My posts are optimised for SEO and having them in the digest is a bonus so I thank you for including it.

      You do your thing and I'll do mine. 👍🏼
