Hi everyone, how are you today?
Today is the weekend so I have free time to explore Danang city. Today, I will take you to a very beautiful place in Da Nang. This is a place with beautiful and sacred scenery, which is Linh Ung Pagoda. The pagoda was built on the Son Tra peninsula. Why is the temple named like that? Because the temple has been certified by many people as a very sacred temple, people come here to pray for luck, peace, good things for themselves and for all their loved ones.
Today is Sunday, so many people have come here to visit the temple and burn incense. As soon as you enter the temple, you have to go up many stairs to get to the temple. To get to the main church, you have to go through the gate and many arhat statues. Arhat statues are placed on both sides of the path for people to admire their beauty. The closer you get, the more fierce-looking statues you will see. Artisans have delicately carved the statues to show us the truest way of them.
The campus pagoda is very large and planted with many trees. Many kinds of flowers, many ornamental plants are decorated very beautifully. Today is the 13th day of the lunar calendar, so the flowers on the Tet holiday are still very beautiful. Eye-catching flower pots and swarms of butterflies and bees racing to suck nectar create a beautiful scene. Visitors to the temple take advantage of taking beautiful photos with the flowers and decorations left over during Tet. Everyone's faces were happy.
Going around the temple you will see a lot of statues. Buddha statues are placed around the temple for people to burn incense. Linh Ung Pagoda is famous for its statue of Quan Am Buddha reaching to the blue sky. Da Nang people have the concept that Quan Am Buddha always blesses the people here. Da Nang city is one of the provinces suffering the most natural disasters, storms, and floods in the central region. But when the storms are approaching the city, they change direction. At that time, the statue emitted a brilliant aura and the guide here believed that the statue had protected Da Nang city from natural disasters.
In addition, the temple has many other statues. Statues of the beasts in the temple. They always protect the peace of the temple and bless everyone. And there are many statues of animals. The animals are realistically portrayed by the sculptor. People are eager to admire their beauty and compete to take pictures of a lifetime.
