Hello again Hive community....Today I write this post to show you an impressive place that is located just a few kilometers from my house and is also considered a world heritage site.
Then I present you the Sil river canyon which is located in Galicia ( Spain ) specifically between the provinces of Lugo and Ourense.
The Sil Canyon is one of the most fascinating places of the Ribeira Sacra. If you are looking for an impressive place, the Sil Canyon is perfect for you.
The Sil Canyon: It is a Gorge of Rock, Water and Curves.
From the viewpoint of the Sil Canyon, in the middle of the gorge, it seems that time stands still. The Sil River winds its way through gorges of vertical walls up to 600 meters high, lined with vegetation. The crystal clear waters and green landscapes are a spectacle to behold.
But the Sil Canyon is not only a beautiful place. It is also a magical place, full of legends and stories.
Have you ever visited a place that has left you in awe? A place where the natural beauty captivates you and leaves you breathless...? That's the Sil Canyon, a rock gorge located in Galicia, Spain.
The canyon was formed thousands of years ago, when the Sil River flowed through a mountainous area. Over time, erosion shaped the rock to create this impressive gorge. Today, the river still flows through the canyon and is one of the main tributaries of the Miño River.
Next we approached with the telephoto lens to get a closer look at the Catamaran (a recreational boat for tourists).
That's all for today friends, I hope you enjoyed the Ribeira Sacra and the Sil river canyon. Galicia is a beautiful region of Spain and well worth a visit. If you have the opportunity, don't hesitate to take a trip to this area, I'm sure you won't regret it!
how it advances and how things disappear,
but that's why we are photographers,
we are conservationists by nature,
we take pictures to stop time and record moments in eternity...
